Janet loves movies. Shee likes horror and romantic ones more in particular. Anything sci-fi and cartoons are not her thing.
In her collections are numerous copies, both old and newly released. She also has on the go version of them...the soft copies.
Claire has been Janet's friend for years. She also likes movies but not much. Music turns out to be her thing. She likes hip-hop, RnB, soul and alternative music genre. Incidentally she works in the movie sector.
Each time both friends meet, Janet will criticise sci-fi and cartoons as uninteresting while Claire will take the opposite direction. Even her choice of music appears to be different from Claire's. She loves rock n roll, and gospel.
In one of the days when Janet was lonely and bored, she decided to tune in to watch news. She became interested with almost every bit of the items until they got to weather and entertainment gists. Only God knows why she did not switch the channel. She absorbed the weather forecast with a pinch of salt. She has been of the view that man cannot determine what tomorrow will be, hence her less concerned attitude.
Soon they began the entertainment news. A new movie was flashed across the screen. Janet became interested thinking it was her choice of genre. A trailer was also shown and it turned out to be the opposite, a sci-fi movie. But as soon as she wanted to change the channel she heard a familiar name as the director of the movie. She was captivated. My own Claire, a director of movie! She became more interested to see what the movie was all about and at the end her opinion about sci-fi movies changed. She flipped her phone and went straight to Netflix to pace an order.
Later she picked up her phone and rang up Claire informing her of her latest discovery. Both friends laughed heartily and Claire promised to visit her that weekend with her own copies too.
