Mate, you have no idea how happy it makes me to read your post 😁

I'm not a normal person yet , but I want to be around for a few minutes and may publish some ideas but...

I share your opinion, and my parents are the same. Here, we don’t eat anything special; the economy doesn’t allow it, and in these last few days, there’s hardly any food left. But well, my parents have always taught us that at mealtime, everyone would sit at the table—no phones, no distractions—and I can tell you it’s the BEST moment of the day. It’s a moment of peace, of listening to stories, of laughing, of suffering, but all together with the people you love.

In my case, it’s my family, but at other times it’s my partner, and a few ones I'm myself companion. For me, that moment is something sacred, and I know many people don’t pay attention to this. However, in good company, food tastes better!

Yep, you understand completely. So many people make the "best moments of their lives" moments that are directly related to things but much of the time it's not the thing as mach as those one shares those moments with. A meal shared with valued people is a perfect time to create some lasting memories and to connect on deeper levels and I think that's where a lot of value comes from.
