I finished More Than A Married Couple, But Not Lovers last night, so I needed a new series to watch.
Again with good ol Crunchyrolls dodgy recommendations, I decided to ignore it and go on a search for something new to watch.
I came across Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, which with the huge name, it just stood out amongst the rest in the list.
The series starts with the main character, whose sister has blackmailed him into completing a dating simulator for her. After several days he manages to complete it which has led to some rather dire situations. He is now starving and exhausted!
He decides to try to at least sort one of these issues out, so he heads to a convenience store. He then takes a tumble down the stairs and ends up unconscious!
He then wakes up to find that he has been reincarnated as a background character in the same game that he has just completed named Leon Fou Bartfort.
With great knowledge of the game, he puts this knowledge to good use so that he can have a comfortable life in the game.
Currently I am six episodes in, and it was not what I thought it would be at all. I am watching it with the English DUB, and Leon's voice is the best part of the whole series!
The facial expressions he does, and the great lines are one of the best character voices I have ever heard in an Anime.
The series first aired in 2022 with 12 episodes.
