What a nice place to walk and enjoy the autumn leaves, I'm surprised the ducks haven't started heading south for winter as of yet. I'm sure the cold isn't too far away this time of year.

Yea, Scaly mushroom is quite edible specie, as I read, just you have to pick it when its is young, not over-matured (in time its texture becomes more rigid and not enjoyable). But its ok mushroom, non-toxic at all. Still, I dont forage mushrooms here within the metropolis area... industrial environment > extra risk.
The local environment benefit more for !BEER or !PIZZA 😉
That is true, lots of pollutants that you don't want to be eating. Forests are the smarter be for those I bet!
