Hello Hello Hivians.
I often make a post for #WednesdayWalk and today is no different.
However, since April arrived (on Monday) it has rained and rained and rained so no walk with pictures for me today, this then is the weekend.
Funnily enough I am listening to the radio and they are talking about the wettest 18 months since records began but they are saying there is going to be a water shortage because of how they have let the water infrastructure fall into repair.
Yet the water companies made billions in profit for their greedy shareholders.
Okay rant over!
Let's go.
We had a glorious Easter as you can see, the sun was out and even had blue skies!
This is my local football ground and it looks like they have blown automatic promotion to the Scottish Premier League.
I did have a well wisher, Rake the raven tends to hang around the bridge here, there is a stream running underneath that goes to the beach.
A burn we call a stream so this is Teal burn!
I was standing on the bridge whilst Rake the raven was on the wall to the right!
If you keep following up to the top of the picture about 300 yards you will be on the beach!
We walk past a path which has these flowers on, they are gorgeous and the blue reminds me of bluebells, however they are different...
Do you know the name?
They are Muscari and often called grape hyacinth.
The weather was still holding, the sky was blue, it might be Spring now but the trees have not got their leafy clothes on.
Dropped off Mrs T and I had a couple of hours to kill so was time for a cheeky wee coffee while I planned what to do.
I fancied a wee dod of sugar so poured in a packet of brown sugar. It is very very rare that I have sugarm but I just fancied some.
Do you have sugar in your coffee?
So I did pop to the shop and this is what I saw when I came out ...
Can you see what is on the steps.
Let's go closer as I am going that way anyway!
Yep, some pour soul dropped their carton of eggs, that is 15 eggs gone.
What is it they say...
Don't put all your eggs in one basket!
No I was not catching a train, but we have to go under the train tracks toget back to where we want to go.
We shall have a look at something...
The floating flower basket
Is it just me or does the basket of dwarf daffodils seem to be floating?
There is something about nature, trees and flowers that makes me just want to take pictures! What about with you?
If you are a visitor of my walking posts then you might recognise where we are from my post of February 28th 2024 The STUMPERY Kirkcaldy Scotland 🏴
I tell you what though, if we compare this picture from that post ....
to one now ...
Yeah we are in Spring now, just look at all the daffs that are out and about.
Well we may as well do our wee bit of homage to Hive Garden now..
I do live daffodils and yellow does remind me of both Easter and Spring.
The Greener Kirkcaldy signs are quite cool, I do like their logo.
The Stumpery in it's finest and you can see why it spring and summer it really all belnds together.
I just hope the weather turns and we can get out for some further afield nature walks!
This post is also my first April 2024 walk for #wednesdaywalk which was started by the wonderful @tattoodjay.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!
All images and ramblings are from me, the mad Scotsman TengoLoTodo and from my November walk in Kirkcaldy in Scotland. Photos taken with my smartphone.
