Hello friends of this C/Wednesday Walk who invites us to tell you about a day Wednesday walk. I took this walk to a place that I frequent, because it is very close to my residence. It is the Avellaneda Multipurpose Park in Sarandí. Usually, I do my daily walks in that bike path, but this time I went to the park, because there was an event, already scheduled by the municipality.
Hola amigos de esta comunidad, Paseo del miércoles que nos invita a contarles sobre un día miércoles paseo.
Este paseo lo hice a un lugar que frecuento, porque está muy cerca de mi residencia. Se trata del Parque Multipropósito de Avellaneda en Sarandí. Generalmente, hago mis caminatas diarias en esa ciclovía, pero en esta oportunidad me acerqué al parque, porque había un evento, ya programado por la municipalidad.
These spaces are always used to hold fairs, exhibitions, workshops, etc. On this occasion, there were green awnings where people, with their businesses, offer their merchandise to visitors. Also, there are those who sell light food, such as those who sell hot dogs, cakes, arepas, ice cream, juices in their carts and those who make their handicrafts and crafts and sell them as well.
En estos espacios siempre acostumbran celebrar ferias, exposiciones, dictan talleres, etc. En esta oportunidad, había unos toldos verdes donde las personas, con sus emprendimientos, ofrecen sus mercancías a los visitantes. Asimismo, llegan los que venden comida ligera, como los que venden panchos, tortas, arepas, helados, jugos en sus carros y los que hacen sus manualidades y artesanías y las venden también.
My attention was drawn to the trolley located on the side of the station. It was the big attraction of the afternoon. The lines that formed to buy their product were brutal. It's meat, gentlemen! And in this country, eating meat is more than a craving. It is a ritual, a habit, it is part of the Argentinean DNA.
Me llamó la atención el carro que está ubicado en un lateral de la estación. Fue la gran atracción de la tarde. Las filas que se formaron para poder comprar su producto, eran brutales. ¡Es carne señores! y en este país, comer carne es más que un antojo. Es un ritual, un habito, forma parte del ADN argentino.
This asador was overflowing with so many smells and flavors, that if you went there with an appetite, you would want to eat even the bones of the ribs. When I stopped to observe this meat spectacle, I could only imagine the legends and tales of the gauchos, their experience and memories in the ancestral kitchen. No wonder those long lines were formed to order the different cuts of meat.
Este asador estaba rebosando en tantos olores y sabores, que si vas con apetito, te quieres comer hasta lo huesitos del costillar. Cuando me detuve a observar este espectáculo cárnico, no pude más que imaginar las leyendas y cuentos de los gauchos, de su experiencia, y recuerdos en la cocina ancestral. Con mucha razón se formaban esas largas filas para los pedidos de los diferentes cortes de carne.
It is a very practical rotisserie, because in it, you can prepare different cuts, pieces or other types of meat such as chicken, chorizos, and right in the center there is a circular space to place firewood or charcoal apart for cooking the ribs of the beef on a stick, as we Venezuelans call it. Here it is a metal frame, but in the countryside, it is the same as ours. All with firewood and sticks to hold the ribs.
It is versatile. You can cook with firewood, or you can use charcoal. It suits all or almost all tastes. If you prepare the famous choripanes, they stay on one side warm, the panchos, also the sanguches on their tray. In short, all kinds of meat and food in general. It is the best steakhouse I have ever seen.
Es un asador muy práctico, pues en él se pueden preparar diferentes cortes, piezas u otro tipo de carne como pollo, chorizos, y justo en el centro hay un espacio circular para colocar leña o carbón aparte para la cocción de las costillas de la res en vara, como lo llamamos nosotros los venezolanos. Acá es una armazón metálica, pero en el campo, es igual a la nuestra. Todo con leña y varas para sostener las costillas.
Es versátil. Se puede cocinar con leña o se puede usar el carbón. Da para todos o casi todos los gustos. Si preparan lo famoso choripanes, quedan en un lado calentito, los panchos, igualmente los sanguches sobre su bandeja. En fin, todo tipo de carne y comidas en general. Es el mejor asador que he visto
