Wednesday Walk 12.11.24, Today's Short Bike ride!

Well my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk I am "on time"! Which is a change from last week, though it is somewhat short and somewhat familiar, but maybe I have some interesting photos anyway!
So I ride over to the Park, and was very surprised at how low the water was,

And a long view,

Normally this only happens when there is a Storm out in the Gulf (of Mexico).
It was extremely clear and here you can see all the way to the JFK Causeway connecting "is" with Padre Island,

And a look out in the Fishing Pier. Nobody out there, though the Sky "is" very clear and blue!

So I left there and rode a few miles and here is where it all comes together - so to speak. This is where the Causeway meets (becomes) South Padre Island Drive (SPID),

This was also the location of "Brooklyn Joe's" - Gone with the wind!
From there I headed back in the other direction - back towards my place. On the way I passed the Gateway Christian Center,

This is their outdoors "billboard" that gives out info and the temp as well,

A bit off - one way or the other as 64°F is 17.77 C, but the try!

From there I passed this "machine shop". I like the way they put these Palm trees in so I thought I would give you a look,

And finally back (almost) at my place. This is the house next door to my place on the far other side. I included it to show the "rustic side" is #aliveandthriving here as well!
