We just enjoy them from a distance! People need to remember that they are still wild animals. Some people try to get closer to them by trying to feed them. I am against this as that is often the beginning of trouble.
But as long as you respect their territory, all is well. They would normally also keep their distance. They are curious and will follow you to see what you are doing but from a safe distance.
