RE: #Wednesday Walk - Through the Forest in Everton Conservancy.

Coastal bush holds deep aroma one never forgets, special place to walk, hope your region is holding up with all the rain currently falling.

Lovely outing with photography to tell the story after the rains fall.

That aroma you are talking about is special indeed! We love that particular trail. It is so peaceful and it feels like just getting from everything...away from all the hustle and bustle...

Thank you for your feedback, @joanstewart!

So far, our region is holding up nicely. We live close to Fields Hill though and we have to travel up and down there quite frequently and that is becoming a nightmare... Rocks are coming down and mudslides are covering the road at times. This afternoon I believe Fields Hill was closed off for some time when the water was coming down too strong onto the highway...

Aroma of the forest along here, a childhood memory from holidays in Renishaw from young age, Cape is the seaweed and fynbos!

So many accidents one tends to shy away from any form of travel, good to hear you are all OK. Main water pipe broke passing through down to South Coast once again, back to palatable water problems again, not that we have been completely back to normal in over two years.

It's amazing (and special) how such memories tend to stay with you for life!

Yes, it's becoming more risky to go on the roads by the day! And it is as if some people just cannot understand the increased risk on wet and slippery roads...they drive as if something is chasing them!

Sorry to hear about the water situation there by you.

We also don't trust the water quality here. We do not drink any water unless it has been boiled. We prefer to buy drinking water. Don't know if you have it too, but we can take our own bottles to the local Checkers and fill up at R1.00 per litre.
