Saludos hivers y bienvenidos a mi blog. Caminar es uno de los mejores ejercicios que existen, no se necesita ropa especial, basta con llevar unos zapatos cómodos y con tener ganas de hacerlo, y si además de eso la caminata es entre hermosos paisajes naturales, pues ese ejercicio se convierte en todo un placer 😊.

Greetings hivers and welcome to my blog. Walking is one of the best exercises that exist, you don't need special clothing, just wear comfortable shoes and have the desire to do it, and if in addition to that the walk is among beautiful natural landscapes, then that exercise becomes quite a pleasure 😊.

El año pasado participé en una caminata desde El Consejo hasta El Conde. El Conde es un sector rural que pertenece al pueblo de El Consejo, en el estado Aragua. Esta caminata la organizó un grupo de senderistas de mi ciudad, yo fui con mi hermana y otras amigas, vinieron bastantes personas, tanto de mi ciudad como de las ciudades cercanas. El punto de encuentro era cerca de la entrada de El Consejo y se supone que la caminata iba a empezar a las 7 pero al final empezó casi a las 8 🤷🏻‍♀️. El recorrido era plano y por la carretera, 10 km con un nivel de dificultad bajo.

Last year I participated in a walk from El Consejo to El Conde. El Conde is a rural sector that belongs to the town of El Consejo, in the state of Aragua. This walk was organized by a group of hikers from my city, I went with my sister and other friends, quite a few people came, both from my city and from nearby cities. The meeting point was near the entrance of El Consejo and the walk was supposed to start at 7 AM but in the end it started almost at 8 🤷🏻‍♀️. The route was flat and on the road, 10 km with a low level of difficulty.

En la primera parte del recorrido, pasamos por parte del pueblo del Consejo, luego nos desviamos para llegar a la carretera, con la sorpresa de tener frente a nosotros unos paisajes espectaculares y llenos de verdor, estábamos en el mes de junio y como ya era temporada de lluvia, todo a nuestro alrededor tenía un intenso y hermoso color verde 💚🌿.

In the first part of the route, we passed through part of the town of El Consejo, then we turned off to reach the highway, with the surprise of having in front of us some spectacular landscapes full of greenery, we were in the month of June and since it was already rainy season, everything had an intense and beautiful green color around it 💚🌿.

La belleza de las montañas, de los sembradíos y del río que pasaba a nuestra derecha nos hacía olvidar que caminábamos sobre el asfalto, nunca había estado por esta zona y la verdad es que quedé gratamente sorprendida con la naturaleza de este lugar.

The beauty of the mountains, the crops and the river that passed to our right made us forget that we were walking on the asphalt, I had never been to this area and the truth is that I was pleasantly surprised with the nature of this place.

En esta zona hay bastante actividad agrícola y vimos muchos sembradíos / In this area there is a lot of agricultural activity and we saw many crops

En una de las primeras casas que nos encontramos por el camino había varias ovejas que nos miraban con curiosidad 🐑jejeje / In one of the first houses we found along the way there were several sheep that looked at us with curiosity 🐑hehehe

Cada vez que camino en la montaña o en zonas rurales donde predomina la naturaleza sobre las construcciones hechas por las personas, me sorprendo del poder que tiene la naturaleza para calmarnos, despejar nuestra mente y recargar nuestra energía, pero sobretodo, para hacernos recordar y sentir que somos parte de ella.

Every time I walk in the mountains or in rural areas where nature predominates over the buildings made by people, I am surprised by the power that nature has to calm us, clear our minds and recharge our energy, but above all, to make us remember and feel that we are part of her.

Mientras la vista extensa de los valles y las montañas era sustituida por caminos más estrechos llenos de árboles, empezaron a aparecer más casas a los lados de la vía, casas muy bonitas y llenas de vegetación y flores. Este sector se llama Quebrada seca. Estoy segura que estas personas deben tener muy bajos niveles de estrés jejeje porque aquí lo que se respira es paz, tranquilidad y naturaleza 🍃🌷🧘🏻‍♀️.

While the extensive view of the valleys and mountains was replaced by narrower roads full of trees, more houses began to appear on the sides of the road, very beautiful houses full of vegetation and flowers. This sector is called Quebrada seca. I'm sure these people must have very low levels of stress hehehe because what you breathe here is peace, tranquility and nature 🍃🌷🧘🏻‍♀️.

Alguien del grupo dijo que esta casa antigua es o era una bodega donde también venden cerveza, sin embargo, estaba cerrada así que no sabemos si aún funciona / Someone of the group said that this old house is or was a store where they also sell beer, however, it was closed so we don't know if it still works

Amor ¿Alguna vez habían visto a un árbol estirar sus ramas para poder abrazar a otro árbol? 💞, bueno, lo están viendo ahora / Love, Have you ever seen a tree stretch its branches to hug another tree? 💞, well, you are seeing it now

El río Tuy ya estaba justo a la orilla del camino, lo que significaba que habíamos llegado al Conde, se escuchaba la presencia humana y la música que habían puesto los organizadores para animar a los que iban llegando. En esta zona el transporte público no pasa con tanta frecuencia, muchas personas tienen auto pero la mayoría de la gente se traslada en moto, bicicleta, a pie y hasta a caballo.

The Tuy River was already right at the edge of the road, which meant that we had reached the El Conde, we could hear the human presence and the music that the organizers had played to encourage those who were arriving. In this area public transportation doesn't run as frequently, many people have cars but most people travel by motorcycle, bicycle, walking and even horseback.

Este balneario se llama Las Cocuizas, los que quieren pasar al otro lado del río, simplemente se montan en la tubería que está allí y van cruzando agarrándose de las cuerdas que están arriba, del otro lado hay un parque infantil y varios lugares para comer el típico sancocho (sopa de carne, pollo y vegetales), unas cachapas con queso o tomarse una cerveza, una gran parte del grupo cruzó hacia el otro lado jejeje / This part next to the river is called Las Cocuizas, those who want to cross to the other side of the river simply get on the pipe that is there and cross holding on to the ropes that are above, on the other side there is a playground and several places to eat the typical sancocho (meat, chicken and vegetable soup), some cachapas with cheese or having a beer, a large part of the group crossed to the other side hehehe

Nosotras queríamos explorar un poco más el lugar así que no cruzamos el río sino que decidimos entrar en la hacienda que está justo ahí, apenas pasamos el arco que está en la entrada supimos que habría muchas cosas interesantes por ver, pero, luego de una caminata hay que darle combustible al cuerpo así que antes de seguir nuestro paseo, mi hermana y yo nos sentamos a comer lo que habíamos llevado y por supuesto a tomar más agua jajaja, es importante mantenerse bien hidratado 💧👍🏻.

We wanted to explore the place a little more so we didn't cross the river but decided to enter the hacienda that is right there. As soon as we passed the arch at the entrance we knew that there would be many interesting things to see, but, after a walk you have to give fuel to the body so before continuing our walk, my sister and I sat down to eat what we had brought and of course to drink more water hahaha, it's important to stay well hydrated 💧👍🏻.

Entrada a la Hacienda Buen Paso, este lugar es bastante antiguo, según la información que conseguí probablemente es de finales del siglo XVI y principios del XVII. Se puede entrar libremente a sus espacios / Entrance to the Hacienda Buen Paso, this place is quite old, according to the information I got it's probably from the late 16th century and early 17th century. You can freely enter its spaces

Luego de comer empezamos a caminar para conocer el lugar, que es una vieja hacienda, vimos varios sembradíos de diferentes vegetales y también muchos árboles de mango, los cuales estaban cargados de fruta pero la mayoría, aún verde.

After eating we started walking to see the place, which is an old hacienda, we saw several fields of different vegetables and also many mango trees, which were loaded with fruit but most of them were still green.

Seguimos caminando y nos encontramos con un viejo trapiche abandonado donde se procesaba la caña de azúcar, la cual es uno de los principales productos que produce el estado Aragua.

We continue walking and we find an old abandoned sugar mill where sugar cane was processed, which is one of the main products produced by the Aragua state.

Cuando miramos hacia arriba vimos una casa así que seguimos caminando para ver de qué se trataba jejeje. Es una vieja casona que perteneció a varias familias a lo largo del tiempo. Seguramente aquí vivían los dueños de la hacienda. Hasta hace unos años atrás funcionó como posada.

When we looked up we saw a house so we kept walking to see what it was hehehe. It's an old house that belonged to several families over time. Surely the owners of the hacienda lived here. Until a few years ago it functioned as an hostel.

Al subir esos viejos escalones y sentarse un rato a contemplar la hermosa vista que se puede apreciar desde aquí, uno se siente como si estuviese en otra época, y es inevitable no pensar en cómo era la vida de las personas que vivían en esta casa y en esta hacienda.

When you climb those old steps and sit for a while contemplating the beautiful view that can be seen from here, you feel as if you were in another era, and it's inevitable not to think about what the life of the people who lived in this house was like and on this hacienda.

La parte de atrás posiblemente era una caballeriza. Ese día vimos a unas personas que aparentemente viven allí porque hasta tenían ropa colgada en el patio / The back part was possibly a stable. That day we saw some people who apparently live there because they even had clothes hanging in the patio

Detrás de esa casa había unas escaleras decoradas con unos hermosos y muy llamativos azulejos, sus diseños en blanco y azul combinaban perfectamente con el verde del entorno. Estos escalones parecían mágicos, como si al subirlos te llevasen al país de las maravillas, a un castillo o algo así jajaja.

Behind that house there were stairs decorated with beautiful and very striking tiles, their white and blue designs combined perfectly with the green of the surroundings. These steps seemed magical, as if climbing them would take you to wonderland, a castle or something like that hahaha.

Por supuesto que estas escaleras conducían a alguna parte, bueno, las subimos, no llegamos a ningún país de las maravillas jajaja sino a donde estaba otra casa y una piscina. Una señora nos dijo que ese lugar era un restaurante y que los fines de semana y días festivos venía mucha gente a comer, pasear y disfrutar de la piscina. Lamentablemente, la inseguridad y la crisis hizo que cerrara sus puertas y ahora sólo queda el recuerdo de lo que un día fue 😕.

Of course these stairs led somewhere, well we climbed them, we didn't get to any wonderland hahaha but to where another house and a pool was. A woman told us that this place was a restaurant and that on weekends and holidays many people came to eat, walk and enjoy the pool. Unfortunately, insecurity and crisis caused the place to close its doors and now only the memory of what it once was remains 😕.

Después de curiosear por el lugar, decidimos bajar, había muchos árboles de mango allá arriba, me encanta el mango y estuve tentada de recoger unos cuantos pero estaban aún muy verdes así que preferí dejarlos ahí.

After looking around the place, we decided to go down, there were many mango trees up there, I love mangoes and I was tempted to pick a few but they were still very green so I preferred to leave them there.

Finalmente llegamos a la entrada de la hacienda, aunque para nosotras era la salida jajaja. Afuera había personas haciendo bailoterapia al ritmo de la música 💃🏻🕺🏻. Decidimos caminar para ir hasta donde se para el transporte público, ya que se supone que regresariamos en autobús. Bueno, una cosa es lo que nosostros suponiamos y otra fue la realidad 🥴🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.

Finally we arrived at the entrance of the hacienda, although for us it was the exit hahaha. Outside there were people doing aerobics to the rhythm of the music 💃🏻🕺🏻. We decided to walk to go to where the public transportation stops, since we were supposed to return by bus. Well, one thing is what we assumed and another was reality 🥴🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.

El río Tuy / Tuy river

Se supone que los que participamos en la caminata íbamos a poder regresar hasta El Consejo en autobús porque así lo habían planificado los organizadores, bueno, resulta que después de esperar un buen rato, no llegaba el autobús así que decidimos caminar y en caso de que llegara pues nos montaríamos en la vía. Eran las 11:30 y ya queríamos regresar a nuestras casas.

It was assumed that those of us who participated in the walk were going to be able to return to El Consejo by bus because that is how the organizers had planned it. Well, it turns out that after waiting for a long time, the bus didn't arrive so we decided to walk and in case arrived so we would get on the road. It was 11:30 and we already wanted to return to our homes.

Yo no podía caminar muy rápido porque el roce de la parte de atrás de mi tobillo con la bota me había sacado una ampolla y me molestaba bastante pero aguantaba estóicamente 🥴😬🤣. Al final terminamos caminando hasta el sector de Quebrada seca, hacía mucho calor y los autobuses que pasaban tanto de ida como de vuelta iban llenos 🥴😬. Cuando llegamos a Quebrada seca, descansamos un rato y por fin llegó un autobús, nos montamos y faltando poco para llegar a El Consejo nos tocó bajarnos y llegar caminando porque en la carretera se había caído un árbol 🤦🏻‍♀️🥴🙄😂😂😂, una cosa increíble 😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️, algunos se reían y otros no podían creerlo jajaja.

I couldn't walk very fast because the rubbing of the back of my ankle with the boot had given me a blister and it bothered me a lot but I held on stoically 🥴😬😂. In the end we ended up walking to the Quebrada seca sector, it was very hot and the buses that passed both way and back were full 🥴😬. When we arrived at Quebrada seca, we rested for a while and finally a bus arrived, we got on and with little time left to reach El Consejo we had to get off and walk there because a tree had fallen on the road 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄🥴😂😂😂, this is amazing 😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️, some laughed and others couldn't believe it hahaha.

En el Consejo mi hermana y yo tomamos el autobús para regresar a La Victoria, cansadas pero satisfechas con esta nueva aventura y con haber conocido este hermoso lugar 🌲🌳🌴🌿. Bueno amigos, a veces las cosas no salen totalmente como han sido planificadas, lo importante es mantener siempre una buena actitud, cuesta un poquito, sobretodo cuando tenemos que lidiar con gente irresponsable 🙄😒, pero vale la pena intentarlo 😉🤷🏻‍♀️.

At El Consejo my sister and I took the bus to return to La Victoria, tired but satisfied with this new adventure and having known this beautiful place 🌲🌳🌴🌿. Well friends, sometimes things don't go completely as planned, the important thing is to always maintain a good attitude, it costs a little, especially when we have to deal with irresponsible people 🙄😒, but it's worth trying 😉🤷🏻‍♀️.
