I woke up this morning feeling so enthusiastic like I could conquer the world.
Phone in hand and sitting in a ‘whole hugger position’ on a couch I read so many posts on Hive and commented on all, losing track of time. I noticed 3 hours was out and I had to get to sewing.
The outfit I have been making since the start of the week is mine (I have kept it off for more than a year) and in my head, it would take less than 2 hours so I could get into making the customer's outfit for the week but that was not true. It ran through five hours and counting. By the time I was almost done I got tired and needed rest.
I was caught between two dilemmas - make lunch/dinner as I was hungry or sleep. I chose to cook - the headaches from hunger are usually appalling.
I could get the interest in doing something and will do it speedily with more enthusiasm, zeal and fervor (what a beauty I could create. It amazes me sometimes) but the moment I lose that drive, doing that activity becomes a drag and a bad chore.
I rested eventually and still haven't finished my dress but God willing tomorrow I could have a great head start to making a new outfit and rounding off the other.
I am alive and grateful. Hope you are too.
