It is hard to find even one "secure" and "reliable" (high uptime) backup location that is free or very affordable. π€―π

One that I use is MEGA, a zero-knowledge encrypted cloud storage with which I've had zero problems. πππβ¨π€

That's true. While most of the software that I use is open source, not all of it is yet. π π π β¨ π€

Some people say that all the security claims of an app are unconvincing if the app itself is not 100% open-source. π€ Even a published security audit of an app is only for its version that was audited, not for versions after or before it. π€
