I've been aware that other versions of us explore every single possible choice that we could make in any lifetime, in seemingly infinite probable worlds. Based on very different choices early on, we wouldn't even recognize some versions of us. Both our past and our future are created from now, so we actually can change the past as easily as we can change the future. We slide between probable worlds constantly, as effortlessly as a fish swims through water.
