Last night and this morning I've been devoting some time to more fine-tuned token management for the We Are Alive Tribe, and although I'm not done with this round yet, I've got through quite a lot so far, thankfully. I've been staking various tokens, and adding assets to a good array of diesel/liquidity pools, daily on @aliveandthriving, but due to time constraints, I haven't had too much chance to get to most of the other Alive Tribe accounts with the same degree of granularity. So I decided to remedy the situation, and get it done.
For the moment at least, I'm only managing and adding assets to liquidity pools on @aliveandthriving and @heartbeatonhive, as trying to do so for more accounts presently would be too much to handle with the time that I have available. With sufficient liquidity, diesel pools can be an excellent source of income for various useful assets, so I'm going as deep as I'm able using what is presently available, and not already allocated for something else, in the various account wallets.
So far, the greatest sources of Alive Tribe asset generation and income come from certain diesel/liquidity pools, delegations to @bee.voter and @pob.voter, delegations to the LOLZ Project's many layer-2 curation account, and a few good income tokens. I've been adding HBD to savings on a few accounts, as well, which is getting the snowball of monthly compounding interest jump started, which will come very much in handy at some point in the future.
Determining what to do with the assorted assets that I manage, both on my own account, and on the Alive Tribe accounts, depends on what tokens are available at particular times, when they will become available if they aren't yet, and the overall benefit of each way that they can be utilized. Because of this, sometimes I'll stake, stake and delegate, or add assets to liquidity pools, as I work with existing conditions. The dance of asset leveraging and growth is indeed an art and a science, and I intend to learn it well, both for my own benefit, for the Alive Tribe, and for the whole Hive community. It's going pretty well up to now, I'd say!
Keeping asset generation and income flowing will be even more important soon, because the next task on the Alive Tribe list is to begin daily dividend payouts for staked ALIVE once again. Bjorn (@borniet) is finishing up a script for this very purpose, and as soon as it's done, the ALIVE token will officially be an income token again. I'm considering the idea of giving daily dividend payouts for both liquid and staked ALIVE, with staked ALIVE payout double the amount of liquid tokens. Now to decide which tokens to include in the payouts, that I'm guessing will change over time. We have a handful to start at least, and as the Alive Tribe resource base grows, other useful tokens will be added over time. Both our community and our token are becoming more ALIVE every day, and it's beautiful to see!
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, around 2:30PM, putting my attention first on photography for these posts, and when I had a satisfying batch, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. With that done, I took a short token-management break up at the Flow House, then I sifted more soil in my old nursery (as a part of clearing and preparing it to receive salvaged plants from my new, now derelict, nursery), and while I still have a lot to go, I'm chipping away at the pile pretty well, very thankfully. I stopped just before sunset, I took a shower, made myself some food (ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, salsa, cheese, and sea salt) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House, to jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. It was another slower night for me on Hive, with me finishing by about 8PM, and after some token management, and a scan of my X feed (best news around), I went to bed around 11PM. I woke up first just before 4AM, and unable to sleep, doing some token managent, making another partially-successful attempt at sleeping, and waking up again just after 7AM, doing more token managent, beginning on this post, then getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and to milk Daisy with Jo. As soon as that was done, I made my way back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
