I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Happy New Year, and January HPUD, y'all! Since HPUD started for Hive yesterday (while for me it was still the 31st), I powered up 46.848 HIVE in the early evening, and of course I wrote and published my HPUD post about it, January HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 46.848 HIVE Powered Up for the New Year!. After my powerup I had 8,578.65 Hive Power, so a nice little boost!
On the topic of Hive Power, I mentioned in my post yesterday how I had chosen 13,000 HP as one of my 3 Hive goals for the new year. I was inspired by my good friend, @borniet, however, to shoot even higher, so like him, I've decided to set my 2025 HP goal to 15,000 HP. Yes, it's a huge jump, and it's exceedingly ambitious to be sure, but with the off-chain crypto assets that I've been growing, I believe that I'll be able to do another mega-powerup at some point in this new year, so it is very possible!
I had a session scheduled with my dear friend Lea today, but because she was up late with her friend Isabelle (to whom I gave a session last Saturday) for New Year, and up early to take Isabelle to the airport (Isabelle lives on Maui), we had to reschedule her session for tomorrow. That took just a little reconfiguring and rearranging, but thankfully I'm able to make it work, and I'm glad that I didn't try to schedule the session with Emily for tomorrow. Everything in its time.
Lea also invited me over to share a New Year's meal with her in the late afternoon, so with a bit more rearranging, I'll be heading over to her place as close to 3PM as I can manage. I'm very much looking forward to spending some quality time with her, and also to working with her in her session Thursday.
It's a beautiful, sunny, and warm day here in the jungle of far East Hawai'i, so a lovely way to start the New Year, and as soon as I get my Hive tasks, and a few community tasks, done, I'll be spending the rest of it with my sweet friend, Lea. That sounds like a very nice New Year's Day to me!
Yesterday, Tuesday, the last day of the year, I left the Flow House around 1:30PM, after I finished up my Hive tasks, focusing my attention first on milking Daisy with Sol, which thankfully went pretty smoothly. When I was done milking, I returned to the Flow House for a short break, and then I chopped and dumped old and used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and put together the dry-goods order at Tutu's. With those tasks done, I took one more short token-management break up at the Flow House, then I collected a wheelbarrow of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, in the rain, as my last task of the day. I was thankfully also able to fit in a little photography for these posts as well, when the sun was out, which was great. After cow food, I took a nice hot shower, collected my leftover jar of superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and finally headed back to the Flow House to jump into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 11:30PM, and after a quick round of token management, I went to bed very soon after. I did sleep reasonanly well, waking up around 8:30AM, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, then going to make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk Daisy with Sol (when I thought that I had a session today, otherwise I would have done it later). Super thankfully Daisy was already making her way back from her jungle jaunt, and milking went well. When milking was done, I made my way back to the Flow House to write this post, and to reconfigure my schedule for today and tomorrow. It's now just after 12:15PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to collect cow food, and then head over to Lea's for our New Year's Day meal together. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
