I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Sovereignty. This is something about which I talk a great deal in my posts, because it is of paramount and superlative significance to me. Honestly, I'd say that it's at the very top of my list of the most important things in my life. What does sovereignty really mean, and why exactly is it so critically important for every human being (whether s/he knows it or not)?
Sovereignty is the absolute and supreme authority over one's self and one's own affairs. It means the freedom, autonomy, self-determination, and power to do and live as we want, without anyone or anything above us limiting that. The only exception to this is when individuals or property are being harmed, in which case it is well within our sovereign right to intercede. Sovereignty has a great deal in common with the concept of anarchy, which simply means no masters or rulers. To me sovereignty also means self-reliance and self-sufficiency, because anything outside of our power on which we depend can and will indeed be used to manipulate, control, and enslave us. Period. That really needs to be understood.
To many people these ideas may seem quite foreign in the context of the world in which we were born and grew up, and that's one of many clues that point to the fact that we were born into slavery without even knowing it. This is precisely why learning and understanding these ideas is so essential. I came to this realization many years ago, once I had my epiphany moment of clearly perceiving and understanding the present slave system for what it was, masquerading as a 'free society'. Once I could see it, I began to slowly disentangle myself from its many tentacles of manipulation and control, and I began the process of learning to live outside of its 'comfortable and convenient' enslavement.
That long and challenging journey of liberation and empowerment, of regaining my personal self-sovereignty, is what brought me to live naked and barefooted in Lower Puna, in far East Big Island, Hawai'i, which is arguably one of the freest places on earth, to this off-grid jungle community of GaiaYoga Gardens, and here to Hive as well. Hive, as I mention all the time, is sovereignty-driven technology, along with other open-source, decentralized, community-based, web3, social blockchain Ecosystems, such as Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon. This is also how I came to use Linux, and other free and open-source community frameworks, that are outside of corporate or governmental control.
Although living here at GaiaYoga is, and always has been, very challenging indeed, I've also known my greatest level of autonomy, self-determination, and sovereignty when compared to any other place that I've lived. That's a huge reason that I've chosen to remain here, and make things work, no matter what. I will choose sovereignty over just about anything, always, as to me it's not negotiable, and it shouldn't be for you either. Choose sovereignty, my friends. No, it's not always easy, but you will be exceedingly grateful that you did.
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, around 2PM, putting my attention first on some photography for these posts, especially since the weather was so sunny. With that done, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. Although I had intended to go over to Lea's to help her out with clearing and pruning work, time and our schedules did not align for that to happen, so it was rescheduled once again. It may happen tomorrow or Sunday, but we'll see how it goes. Since I didn't end up going to Lea's, I walked around to take a few more photos, before heading to the Landing to make myself some food (homemade French fries with guacamole, with some more guac toast, to try to use up my guacamole before it goes bad). After eating, I returned to the Flow House to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything on Hive done by just before 11:30PM, and after some token management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 12:30AM. Surprisingly and thankfully, I did sleep well, waking up about 6AM, doing another round of token management, catching up more on my notifications, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk the cow with Jo. Once cow milking was done, I took a shower, and made my way back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first take more photos for these posts, strain and blend kefir, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
