I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
My very busy, rainy days are continuing it seems, with a second day straight of very rainy and cloudy weather, and oh so many things to attempt to juggle. Our solar electrical system has not been working properly for week now, which has necessitated running the generator most nights. That's been working fine, except for last night, when the generator would not start. Without a functional backup, it was guaranteed that the power would go out, which it did after I went to bed. The main problem with that is that I run a Qortal node on my laptop that needs to stay runnning, and connected to the internet, 24/7. That did not happen, obviously.
The rain, which only intensified, has continued into today, so the electrical system, even though it came back online, has been on the edge of crashing the whole morning so far. We shut off the braakers to most of the property, and we can't turn on the refrigerators, so it's pretty bloody challenging to get things done, that's for sure. Jo(hanna) and I also had to milk the cow this morning in torrential rain, only covered by one small tarp. Not the most enjoyable conditions, I'll say.
I finally got my Qortal node up and running again, and minting (eligible for QORT payouts when the payout block is reached) too thankfully, and I'm keeping an eye on it as I write this post. I'm really hoping that I can keep everything working through the next payout window. After I finish with this post, and my few other important Hive tasks, I need to see if I can fix the generator with Ano. I have no idea how that will go, but it's super-high priority, so it gets the focus.
Aside from making an attempt to fix the generator, I also still need to take photos for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest, which I was unable to do yesterday since my session with Harmony went on past dark. I needed to collect cow food for this mornings milking too, which I did early this morning soon after getting up, with Ano's help, in the rain of course.
The saying, 'when it rains, it pours', very fittingly describes today, both with the rain falling from the sky, and the deluge of necessary tasks that need to be completed. I still have to fit in straining out and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) at some point today too, if the solar batteries hold out. I pray that we're able to fix the generator, otherwise the electrical system will crash again soon after sunset. I need to make sure that I can keep my phone's battery charged sufficiently to be able to do my Hive tasks tonight, and tomorrow morning/afternoon. It all rests on our success or failure in getting the generator functioning again today. I'll just keep doing my best through it all. Fingers crossed.
Yesterday, Friday, as soon as I was done with my afternoon Hive tasks around 1PM, I headed quickly to Tutu's to make Iolanthe some food, and then, just as quickly, I made my way up to the Kuti, to give Harmony her session. The session went very well, though we did have to truncate it at the end a bit, as we both had things to get done. She was going to help with the food preparation for a communal meal (which I wanted to attend, but did not, as I just had too much to get done on Hive), and me to do cow food (which as I mentioned above did not happen until this morning, as it just got too dark). Once I realized that it was too dark to collect cow food, I just grabbed my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and returned to the Flow House to get to my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything on Hive done my just before 11PM, and after some token management, and and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 12AM. I did thankfully sleep well, waking up about 6AM, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, doing a little more catch-up on my Hive notifications, and then getting out of bed around 7:30AM to at least start preparing my superfood fire coffee (even though I couldn't blend it yet, since there was no power), to collect cow food with Ano, and then to milk the cow with Jo(hanna) a little after 9:30AM. Although it was wet and muddy, cow milking went well, and as soon as I finished, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:30PM, so a pretty good time to end this post, so that I can get to my few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to continue with my very busy, rainy day. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Reflection Hunters Contest entry later today (very hopefully), and the next iteration of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
