I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Over the past few days or so my beast-mode-activated fellow Busy Bee, @borniet, and I have been tossing around, and really liking, the name 'Whaleward Ho Team', which is based on one of my quirky expressions. Personally I love it, as it's both catchy and straight to the point. Using the word 'team' triggered in my mind the birth of an idea. Since I'm now part of the Busy Bees, and we want to ramp up activity and engagement, the thought came to me to create multiple Busy Bee Whaleward Ho Teams, that could then playfully compete with each other in various ways. This idea led to the whole framework for a Busy Bee Engagement Contest coalescing in my mind this morning. I felt a wave of excitement when this contest idea came to me. I want to tag the head Busy Bee, @zakludick, to share this idea, and to get his thoughts about it.
So if two or more people engage with each other across many simultaneous threaded conversations over several hours, it is quite easy to rise quickly to the top of the Ecency Leaderboard. It basically creates an upward spiral, that each individual would not have been able to achive alone. Now add in the idea of our passionate Busy Bee Whaleward Ho Teams, all chomping at the bit to go for the Hive gold.
So the framework of this The Busy Bee Whaleward Ho Engagement Contest is actually quite simple, To organize the Busy Bees into various Whaleward Ho Teams of say 3 people each, and then have them engage with each other on their respective posts and comments, along with the usual outside engagement. Good team chemistry is essential, so choosing people for teams that really enjoy engaging with each other is a must. A score will be kept for the total number of points accrued by each team, using the Ecency Leaderboard. The team that racks up the most points at the end of the week wins a weekly preselected-and-announced prize. Prizes can be purchased using the payouts from the weekly Busy Bee post, or maybe even a new series of contest-specific posts, thus strongly incentivizing people to upvote the post. I'd love to tag @melinda010100 in this conversation, as our purposes seem quite aligned, and she may have some ideas or suggestions in how it is implemented. Also, since the Busy Bees are Ecency-based, perhaps these contests could be co-sponsored by the Ecency team?
Prizes would vary week to week, with a strong focus on solid income tokens, like BRO, BXT, DRIP, EDS, INCOME, DBOND/DABS, among others. The prizes should warrant the effort. They should motivate and excite the participants to give their all. I know that this contest idea excites me, because I can see it's potential to take the Busy Bees to the next level, to strongly accelerate the growth of our individual accounts, and to supercharge the whole Blockchain!
Yesterday, Wednesday, was quite a busy day, with me fulfilling various requests of my time and muscle. Even before writing the last iteration of this post, I helped carry assorted heavy objects up the jungle trail to Melekai's place, the Kuti, in the morning. After helping at the Kuti, I collected almost 2 gallons of our raw cow milk from the fridge at Tutu's, and then drove with it down our jungle road to where it meets the pavement, to meet up with Hope so that she could buy her milk for the week. Seeing Hope was truly a joy. We shared two exquisitely juicy hugs, before saying 'aloha', and returning to our respective properties. I'll likely be giving Hope a session quite soon. Once I returned to GaiaYoga Gardens, I ended up hanging out with Iolanthe for a short while, walking around and eating blackberries. After spending time with Io, I helped Ano with doing some repairs on an older section of the rain-collection system, bringing it back online after a good while nonfunctional. When I was done helping Ano, I strained out and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), then I got my machete and did some clearing work along the second driveway, near the Flow House, and around some young coconut palms and my sapling cashew trees. Once I finished working, I took a shower, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House, for my evening round of Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. @borniet is giving me a run for my money in our nascent Busy Bees Whaleward Ho Team, and as such, I was not able to get fully caught up on my notifications for a third day in a row, getting to only within 3 hours of being fully up to date, when I went to bed just before 1AM. I woke up around 8AM, still feeling like I needed more sleep, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's now just after 12PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir, perhaps take more photos for these posts, and then land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
