I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. The longer I'm on Hive, and the more that I explore other platforms and blockchains, the more it becomes clear to me just how truly exceptional what we have here is. Even with the challenges that it sometimes has, like project failure or Hive-Engine node issues, Hive is still head-and-shoulders above anything else. Yes, there other excellent platforms and blockchains that I use, but there is a reason that Hive is my primary focus and 'home'.
Each Hive account having a self-custodial wallet (that can't be seized or frozen), with the ability to build, grow, save, trade, and leverage assets across both layer 1 (HIVE, Hive Power, HBD, HBD in Savings) and layer 2 (the large number of tokens on Hive Engine), is huge. In layer 2, with our internal decentralized exchange (DEX), and the numerous diesel/liquidity pools, the very real potential to generate and grow assets is absolutely unparalleled in the crypto or fiat financial worlds. Being able to delegate staked layer-1 and layer-2 tokens is also an excellent way of growing our assets. No other blockchain can compare when it comes to the multitudinous ways that income can be generated, and investments can be grown, here. And all with zero fees, and a three-second transaction time.
Hive also stands out from the crowd by how many ways people can get paid for doing a startling diversity of social activities, like blogging, vlogging, playing games, photography, making music and singing, engagement, entering all manner of contests, and curating, just to name a few. What's just as amazing is that it's all based on a censorship-resistant blockchain which stores immutable text.
Of the four sovereignty-driven social blockchains where I am active, Hive, Qortal, Deso, and Bastyon, I have the strongest belief and faith in Hive. Yes, they are all amazing in their own ways, but Hive has proven itself to me over the past 2 years and almost 8 months that I've been on this glorious Blockchain. This is exactly why the two times that I've had larger chunks of assets from outside to invest, I invested them in Hive, and I will continue to do so, because to this day, Hive is still the best investment in time, energy, and assets, that I've ever made, bar none.
Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after getting my Hive tasks done, and catching up a bit more on my notifications, focusing first, as I usually do, on straining out and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then taking photos for these posts, on and off, as the sun appeared and disappeared behind clouds. For land work I weeded my Coleus beds a bit more, and I helped Ano put up a fence along the edge of the new cow pasture. We worked until it started to get dark, and to rain. After working, I took a shower, collected some leftover food from the Landing fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House, to get to my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications. Like the night before, I became ever-more sleepy, due to lack of sleep, the longer I progressed on my notifications, to the point just after 10:30PM, when I had to stop to go to bed, still around 9 hours behind being fully caught up. Very thankfully I did sleep well last night, waking up around 6AM, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, catching up more on my notifications, and then getting out of bed around 8:30AM, to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's now just after 12:15PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir, maybe take more photos for these posts, and then land work. 2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
