I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I have a session scheduled with Kula today, Wednesday, at 1PM, so I'm working to get all of my essential Hive tasks, and writing and publishing this post, done as early as possible. If I get done early enough, then we can start the session earlier than 1PM, which is a just a tentative safe time. Since I've worked with Kula many times, I feel very relaxed about her session today. After Kula I don't have anymore sessions scheduled yet, though given how much my sessions have been hopping lately, I have no doubt that more will appear very soon.
Some of you might have noticed that yesterday Ecency updated their website, with the most notable change being that they removed the ability to boost posts with Ecency Points. In its place, Ecency Points can now be used to request an HP delegation for a certain amount of time. Honestly I'm sad to see that I can't boost posts any longer, as that was an extremely helpful and useful feature. I don't particularly like major changes like this, especially to something that I used multiple times every single day. I love Ecency, and I use it a great deal all the time, but man are there things that annoy me about it. This change just got added to the list.
Another frustration from yesterday was the fact that multiple tipping bots were broken for me, again. The BEER, LUV, and PIZZA bots didn't work once for me yesterday at all. I adapt and flow to the instabilities of our Blockchain to the best of my ability, but sheesh! Every day I pray that things simply work as they're intended.
On a positive note, the repution stats began working again on PeakD and Ecency. I still have no clue why they stopped working, but it was a nice surprise to see them giving accurate information again. In my almost 2.5 years on Hive, there have often, usually, been a few things not working on any particular day. One of Hive's greatest weaknesses is its recurring instabilities. I love it, and I'm not going anywhere, but I'll just say that increasing stability of functionality and services is an absolute necessity, especially if we have the desire and intention to bring many more people here.
Healing my broken heart is a bugger. I so wish this were an easy process, but no such luck. I open and connect, experience something that I interpret as some form or rejection, then I shut down and withdraw again. It's crazy how even my shut-down and withdrawn state can change astoundingly quickly, with something as simple as a touch or a few words. I just experienced that with Nivah. I was in a bit of a frustrated, rather shutdown place this morning, and a loving hug from her (two, actually) melted my frustrations away, and opened my heart. Such simple, beautiful things.
I left the Flow House a little before 3PM yesterday, Tuesday, focusing first on straining out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, then delivering a quart of it to Sperry. I didn't have to take photos for this post yesterday, as Iolanthe had taken so many on my phone the previous day. With kefir done, given that my plans of leading Sarah through a second practice session of Energy Exercises changed and had to be rescheduled, I decided to go do a good round of weeding in the fenced garden. I hadn't done any weeding there in probably two months, and it showed. I got one whole section weeded by the time I called it a day. I intend get back to it as soon as I can, to get to the other sections of the garden. I may have help in this endeavor, which would be marvelous.
After working, I took a shower, made some food in the Landing, and then I headed back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications (which I was not able to finish the night before). Thankfully I was able to get everything done just before 9PM, and I spent the rest of the evening doing a round of token management, checking in on notifications and my feeds on Bastyon, DeSo, and X, as well as starting, refueling, and babysitting the generator a bit, before finally going to bed a little before 11PM. I did sleep well, super thankfully, waking up around 5AM, doing a round of token management, completing @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest, and beginning to write this post, before getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee. I gave Nivah another jar of it, as she's really digging it.
It's now just before 10AM, so a nice early time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, before Kula arrives for her session. Although the session is set for 1PM, I'll likely be done all of Hive tasks very soon, so I told her that she could come earlier if she likes. She said she'll probably get here by 12:30PM. May it be a beautiful session! I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! Forward, onward, and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
