It's Saturday, I have a very unstable and intermittent electrical flow, but already in #Venezuela one gets used to the fact that the services are poor in quality, and in the worst case it can happen that we are left with a blackout and then there is no service and no It is certain how many hours will pass before it is restored, in addition to the fact that there will be no official statement that explains or anything will happen against the officials who are in charge of these areas, it may even happen that they are congratulated for their management and their achievements, whenever it is counted as an achievement or success to reduce the quality of life and the mental health of the population, destroy the hope of the citizens or annihilate the will of the people. But, anyway, this is Venezuela today.

While I have service and the computer's voltage protector holds up, I take the opportunity to publish the log of the day, when reviewing the history I find this anniversary:

August 6, 1945, the United States drops an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. It was already in the final days of the Second World War, the European front of the war had surrendered, and the allies returned their efforts to the Pacific front, a bombardment and then a maritime invasion were being considered, but there was a small change of strategy by getting the Manhattan Project to complete two models of new weapons based on #nuclear #energy, it was decided to test them in the field of war and the cities to be targets were chosen. One thing to note is that it is the first and only openly recognized attack with #atomic weapons that has been carried out, a peculiar thing is that although the first city was #Hiroshima and was bombed according to plan, the second city to be bombed was not initially #Nagasaki, it so happens that the selected city could not be located by the bomber due to bad weather conditions and an alternative was chosen, in short, it can be said that this was a great #weapons experiment, since the two #bombs were built with two different #radioactive materials and with two different control and detonation mechanisms.

It can be said that these products of the #ManhattanProject helped to end the #SecondWorldWar faster with less loss of life of soldiers of the allied forces, but it scares me to think about the amount of Japanese loss of life, I think in their Mostly civilian or non-combatant lives, according to accounts, between 129,000 and 226,000 people died in the bombing of the two cities.

I'd love to write more, but the power is already flickering, and I need to post before I lose power again. I wish that you are in a better situation than me and that we can read each other again another time.

... less loss of life of soldiers of the allied forces....... amount of Japanese loss of life...

How hypocritical it would be to consider the "less loss of life of the soldiers" while ignoring the "amount of Japanese lost their life"!

It is a very cruel thing, but very true, that in a war the life of your people and your allies is always considered more valuable and precious than the life of your enemies and their people.
