I include myself in that group of people who flee from the crowds, hehe, but as you say this type of celebration can be enjoyed with little that you plan. This is the best week for that, close enough to Christmas to be in line with the atmosphere and before the holidays of most. I could only see part of Madrid's Christmas lighting once and like everything there, they are in a big way. You have very beautiful photos, thank you for sharing your Madrid walk.
