Today we would like to encourage some self reflection regarding your activity on hive. What category would define your activity on hive best?

Are you mainly a content creator? Are you a content consumer? Are you an investor? Are you a gamer? Are you searching interaction? Are you a trader? Are you a curator? Or something else? Please tell us which category of user you feel to belong most (please don't say all of them, that would make this mission quite useless) ?

Please leave your answer as a comment below this post.

More of a content creator than anything else. I think when we have some time here we start to interact proactively in many areas of the ecosystem, so we do many things, although I think I know what you mean, a more personal reflection on the way we see ourselves and we feel more comfortable.

I certainly put a lot of love into the posts I write, I think that's what I enjoy the most and what I feel most identified with. Creating a blog that adds value and leads to interesting interactions makes me feel happy.

Creating a blog that adds value and leads to interesting interactions makes me feel happy.

I also feel like that. When you try to make something nice out of a post that will help others. As a payment for your efforts you get some upvotes and more importantly some comments :-)

I came to Hive/Steemit as a blogger. It is also in my nature to share content I like.
I also wrote in my profile "Content producer, curator and sharer".I don't play games.
Investor? What do I know? According to my "value in Hive" it's currently about 10% of my crypto investments. I'm more of a "hodl". I've never withdrawn anything on Hive just accumulate, but slowly, let's call it "organically". 😎

let's call it "organically".

Whenever I hear about the big investors that's the strategy they adopt even though they call it maybe a bit differently :-)

Basically im a regular hive user 🤣 content creator , curator/ very active in some communities and of course investor, using LPs and hive engine tokens :)

a regular hive user

There you have a very nice category and we all fit in it 🤣

I define me as a curator, content creator and consumer. I can’t say only one thing!

It's not easy to settle for only one thing because we kind of do all of them :-)

I don't think any of us can be just one. Top 3 for me would be content consumer, curator, and content creator.

It's almost impossible to chose just one and in a way we are all of them at a certain degree. It's nice to see however where people put themselves in the first place :-)

I agree with you, it's impossible to choose just one, I'm happy to see you in the curation and projects part helping us to evolve.

Being able to award curation votes is one of my favorite things to do on Hive!

I would say that it's gamer, content creator and content consumer for me.

Nice, thanks for sharing!

Basically, I am a consumer of content, but because of the dynamics of Hive I also consider myself a creator and a curator.

Success! @edgerik(4/1) You mined .9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴‍☠️ | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

What's more, you found a ⚪ BLAQ pearl (BLAQ) as a bonus treasure token!

There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in the game. Someone will find it. Happy hunting. 😃

You can see your random number generated in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet. Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.

Interesting to see that you put consumer in the first place! Thanks for sharing!

I am a... "long termer". 😀 My interests or activities may have varied or changed and will continue to change over time, but that probably won't change.

I am a... "long termer"

That puts you in a very limited circle of people who see the big picture ;-)

Interesting i never consider myself in any category particularly, i curate, i am a consumer, i create, i invest, if i was to call myself anything it is a visionary.
I have a long term plan creating and building on Hive with community building invested interests.
Have the best mid week

i was to call myself anything it is a visionary.

That's a nice name for a category ;-)

I'm a Gamer! Just a wishful thinking, lol!

I'm more on consuming and creating content and in my small ways, help in distributing a little bit of HIVE, HBD, and other tokens by upvoting other people's content.😊

help in distributing a little bit of HIVE, HBD, and other tokens by upvoting other people's content.

That's a nice side effect of hive. We can help others just by doing what helps us to progress as well!

Very true. We all win :)

I started out as a gamer more than anything else, but today I can say that I am a content creator and investor, explaining the following points:

  1. I still play Hive games, but with much less intensity than when I joined.

  2. I am a content creator because I like to make my daily posts and interact on Snaps/Waves. I like to create content there that attracts attention or makes people feel comfortable interacting.

  3. I am an investor, because in this case, I am investing heavily in Hive's L2 tokens, focusing on dividends and everything else. I also often bring in opportunities from outside, such as airdrops or opportunities to earn some crypto outside of Hive.

That could even be regarded as a certain degree of influencer ;-)

Maybe it is kkk, I've already managed to pass the call on to some friends here, many Brazilians and even some from abroad, nothing that a translator wouldn't help haha, but the important thing is to always try to help them win or understand something, I like doing that.

When I have time I am a writer and I am also a curator.

Thank you for sharing!

Mainly a gamer, but like to do a bit of content.

Thanks for sharing!

I am a content creator, curator and consumer.

Thanks for sharing!

Consumer, Curator, Engager and lastly content creater.
A good question and I did this in order of my daily Hiving activities.

Interesting order of categories. Thanks for sharing!

On Hive it is possible to be multiple things, and I try to focus on three main roles: content creator, curation, and interaction
When I have free time I can do well in the three roles otherwise not
When I have little free time the aspect that suffers the most is interaction

When I have little free time the aspect that suffers the most is interaction

It's the same for me. I would like it to be different because interaction is what powers our long term progression here but it's often difficult to find enough time...

I am a content consumer who always search for interactions

These are the roles that make hive a real social media platform of a different type :-)

Sure, engagement they say is the king

I am a content creator, a consumer, and a noob curator (don't really have the best curating strategy). But yeah, I think mos of us are mostly are those three.

I think that we are all somewhat curators of a unique type and I think it adds to the richness of the chain. If we would upvote all the same stuff it wouldn't be good and it would be no different than the web 2.0 platforms.

For me, most likely I fall into the category of content creator. Though there part of others that I do on hive as well.

Nice, thanks for sharing!

I am a gamer and content creator. I enjoy doing both but would not know which on to pick as my number 1 because it shifts back and forth. My gaming provides content for posts and my posts provide the resource credits for gaming. They both rely on each other.

It's a great thing to be able to create content about our gaming experiences. I think this is one of the great synergies that hive offers.

I don't know there's much to do... Just investors and Just curators? Interesting... I can't get into their heads. For me, I would say I'm a content creator, content consumer, and Gamer. I usually call them Crypto Bloggers and Gamers to make it simpler.

Cool, thanks for sharing!

Although I post and vote every day, I consider myself an investor. My investment in Hive is small, but if the chain were decentralized, then I would invest much more.

I consider myself an investor

that's very interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Haha I wanted to just say all of them... Lol!

I think it occurred by chance that I am mainly a content creator, judging by the number of posts I create. So if I can only pick one this would be it.

It's not easy to make a choice lol. We are a bit of everything but it's interesting to see what people would put in first place :-)

i don't fit in any category per say.

I do try to write posts. Upvotes some of the posts, but i am not a curator for any community.

I am not a gamer, but do play risingstar game which is not interactive.

I am investing more time then money on Hive. which i suraly want to change. So i can partly categorize myself as novice investor.

I do somewhat interact with others on threads and also comment on other posts. But that to a degree is limited.

First comment Today I believe that I am a multitasker, because I love creating content, I love consuming content, I love investing and I also love playing lol, besides lately I am always looking for more interaction, friendships and knowledge, who knows one day I will be a curator too (if anyone has a vacancy, call me) the idea is to grow and evolve, both financially and as a person!

From what you write, we can feel the energy behind it and it's refreshing :-)

The kind of Hiver that likes interaction with others, that affords me the opportunity to learn new things from interaction and engagements.

I am a content consumer. Most of my interactions on HIVE are limited to scrolling and reading what interests me. :)

If I think about what I do EVERY DAY on Hive, then #1 is actually "gamer" for me now as I play at least one game of Splinterlands every day, and usually several, aiming to rack up enough reward points to get myself 10 x common cards. I actually avoided Splinterlands for a long time, until I found out about the (at that time) high interest rates that you could earn by staking SPS in the game!

So, I think in second place comes "investor" since staking SPS is for the interest as well as for influence within Splinterlands, just as staking Hive and delegating Hive is also for investment purposes.

Judging from this month's activity, as I have already hit my curation target but not my blogging target, I would put "curation" in 3rd place.

So in fourth place comes "blogging" because although I get a lot of enjoyment from it, it is the first thing that gets abandoned when "real life" gets in the way!
