It's been generally good. Although there had been scares of life and health challenges in the fam with both my parents going back and forth in hospitals. Learning mom has cancer has been the toughest.

We relocated to another town in July and we are still adjusting. Although we have our 2 old places so we can go back to them any time we want.

2024 taught me to be mentally tough no matter what life throws at me.

This was definitely a year of ups and downs for me (maybe my life is like the crypto market and its fluctuations haha). However, overall it was positive, my personal life had great moments and some satisfying achievements, but right now it’s a bit melancholic. Here on Hive, I say the same, at times I felt a bit discouraged and disappointed, but at other moments it brought me joy. Well, it was a good year, but I hope next year is even better!

How was your 2024?

Generally, 2024 was my best year in over a decade. I'm still adjusting to significant life changes. But I'm hoping that this is the start of year-on-year improvement.

What were your experiences?

Most significantly, I retired. Which gave me time to investigate and enjoy local attractions. Especially as retirement brings a free bus pass for UK residents.

What did you learn?

  • West Yorkshire has a surprising amount of free attractions. And bus travel is fine when you have no deadlines.
  • Life turns the circle in retirement. So playtime has become my most important part of life. Just as it is for my young grandsons.

What were the good things?

  • More income due to my state pension. Giving me more opportunities for local exploring and playing out with friends old and new.
  • Better enjoyment of Hive due to my focus on curation rather than new posts.

What were the bad ones?

There's a traditional English proverb, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Whereas, I found that, "All play and no work makes Keith a poorly boy". Because, I neglected to recognise that I still need to work on basic health needs. Even though that's not my usual view of "work". So I'm focusing on daily routines for maintaining my physical and mental health. Incorporating them with playtime whenever I can.

Overall, I'll say that 2024 has been very good to me financially and career wise.

Health and fitness has unfortunately taken a slight backseat due to the increased workload but I'm not near critical levels, just no longer in "Full Marathon Shape". 🤣

My only regret? Not going even harder into BTC, mostly because I didn't expect the bull market to arrive again so quickly!

I am very glad 2024 is over. It was a presidential election year in the USA. Everywhere were political ads belittling and throwing mud at their opponents. It was very saddening that people could fall so low. That aspect of the year was very disappointing.

Now with all or most of the negativity over I can focus on more positive things. I look forward to 2025 and all that it holds in store for us.

This was a great year in crypto for me. My main bets worked out very well and I am learning a lot of new things that will serve me well in 2025.

Hahaha I just wrote a post on this! Lol!

2024 was good/okay for me, I count my blessings. I learnt a lot about the financial markets, more about cryptos as well. Lots of good stuffs, cryptos are up, markets are up, even my Hive wallet! No bad stuff - I don't spend much time dwelling on the negatives.

A decent year i guess. Personal front, out of job. Still hunting though. No regrets, i am sure 2025 will be my turnaround.

Crypto front was good. Have been accumulating Hive and hive engine tokens and few others.

Trying few more different things, none has clicked yet.

My answers:
How was your 2024? Ending one more year is always good news and a reason to celebrate that I'm still here.
What were your experiences? I think I had good experiences in general. I learned lots of new things and improved my skills.
What did you learn? I can’t remember exactly…
What were the good things? To achieve my Hive goals twice, hehe. And becoming part of the Liotes Ourpick curator’s team.
What were the bad ones? My best friend, my puppy Rocky, passed away and I miss him every single day.

I wish you all the best for next year, Liotes fam!

It's good to see videos again! The year ended well since my employer finally announced a salary raise! That is good!
I think everything went this year through a computer script, mostly, lol. But it was nice to see my kids growing, as always. I can't remember any bad things that happened right now, so they were probably all overcome somehow!

It's been a bit of a rough year health wise, it seems that I'm no longer quite as immortal as I believed I was way back when I was 21! I'm watching my diet more carefully and being careful with my health.

It's not been too bad financially, BTC has helped out quite a bit there. Hive is of course lagging behind but I have my fingers crossed! I hope your year has been a good one!

2024 was a bloody hell in general... The good part is that I am still alive now.

I have too many problems, obstacles, burdens and many more although I never say any about most of them.

Right now I prefer to forget this year and prepare for 2025, because there is no guarantee that next year will be easier than this year.
