It’s such a beautiful day, isn’t it?
Most times we have no idea what we are capable of doing, until we find ourselves in situations we have no choice but to act. And when we act we are surprised by just what we can achieve.
It’s all in our head.
Delight has always been a shy student. But I noticed more than that in her. She’s vocal and has a good command of English.
I chose her to represent her class in a debate competition two weeks ago. I was met with a strong refusal.
“I can’t do it Mr. Kenny!”
I told her she will, and she will do very fine. I gave her some tips to help her develop good points and to prepare well.
She performed excellently. Needless to say her class came first in the debate competition.
Again, it’s all in your head, you never know until you try. So before you conclude that you can’t perform a task, take a moment to think:
Have I done something like this before? What is the challenge here?
Is it really something I can’t overcome?
These questions will give you insight on your capabilities.

Have a good one!
