We Are Alive! May 6th, 2022 Four Year Old Conversations

Today is an island of productivity between resting periods. We clean the house and finish up work for the week, then we take the seventh day off, before resuming on Sunday.

I got to spend some quality time with one my boys and we had some good conversations. I found he likes to point at things (seemingly at random) and here's how the conversation goes:

"What's that daddy?"
"What's what, son?"
"THAAAAT" point point.
"This?"
"No, THAAAAT" point point.
"Can you describe it?"
"That over there"
"What does it look like?"
"That thing by the books"
"This?"
"No, THAAAT" point point.
"This is by the books"
"No, THAAAT by the books"
"You mean this?" pointing to the lozenges
"Yes, what's that?" pointing to the lozenges
"They're lozenges" (sort of like breathmint candies)
"Oh.... can I have one?"
"They're spicy..."
"Can I have one anyway?"
"Sure" I open one for him and give it to him
Look of shock and distress "SPICY!!!"
"I told you they were spicy."

children are wonderful kids theytry as much as possible to know things , taste of things and even to feel thing but the moment they see that it is awful or doesn’t like it they distance themselves ffrom it next time. glad that you are have a good time ttogether with your children @ironshield
