We've Been Using our Dehydrator
A few years back we planted a lavender bush and it produces some very sweet smelling flowers.
To get the most flowers we have to cut it back and let it grow some more. We recovered a big pile of beautifully scented lavender flowers.
We filled two trays with lavender and two trays of chamomile.
We ran the dehydrator for many hours until the flowers were very dry and crispy.
We plan on using the lavender flowers for flavoring scones, or for teas. It has a wonderful scent and has many excellent healing properties.
