The sun was beating down today during my four hour walk. Thankfully, the AC in my car works and my cooler full of ice water is so refreshing to drink.
Because I don't have thick eye-brows, I suffer from the sweat in the eyes problem. It's very unpleasant.
But besides all this whining, I still managed to visit a lot of doors today. Had some good conversations. I usually get about 2 - 3 decent conversations per 100 doors. Not great percentages, but it is what it is. About one in five or six doors will result in a conversation at all.
I thought this was pretty neat: one home left a sign on their porch with a cooler full of refreshing drinks and a tub with snacks. It was for those delivery folk at Amazon and such.
I figured I wasn't exactly "such", since the lady at the door said "oh sweety, no thank you." A polite rejection, but still a rejection. I didn't partake of the porch gifts, but I did snap a photo.
