I hear ladybugs could solve your trouble
We did discover a bunch of ladybugs, but not enough to solve our aphid problem. We used neem oil and dishsoap to kill the aphids, but we were too late. We had little rain, then three days of heavy rain - we waited until after the rain ended to spray but by that time the damage was already done. The cherries split (while they were still green), the aphids introduced mold and every split became rancid as they ripened.
It seems to be a problem caused mostly by a lot of rain than by aphids.
Indeed, greenhouse plants do not split.
Certainly ladybugs bring joy especially in a family full of children.
