I haven't used #throwbackThursday in a long while. Today, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic, so I took a look back at old travel adventure photos with my daughter. These were from ten years ago. π± Yes, that's how fast time has passed us by.
Our Subic trip was just the second time my daughter and I traveled out of town back in 2014. We actually started only when she turned 18. That was one of the best decisions we made. Now that I have mobility issue, I'm glad I have memories to remember by. Treetop Adventure is also closed now, so it was great to have experienced it.
I'm afraid of heights, so these activities really took me out of my comfort zone. π I'm glad I did not let my fear take the fun out of testing my limits. No regrets, esp. since I wouldn't be able to enjoy such physical activities anymore.
I still remember how scared I was during this superman adventure. π Look at how I look on the photo compared to my daughter who was having the time of her life. π€£ I'm sometimes sad when I think that I can no longer enjoy adventures with my daughter. Such is life though. I choose to look at it as a different stage in my life now. I can still choose to have adventures but not physical ones anymore.
Three weeks from now, the end of October will be here. That's Halloween night! π» No parties. I just want a quiet night. π I think we'll have the first of November as holiday from work. π€ I'd certainly welcome an extra holiday, 'coz it happens so rarely.
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Right now I'm less than 20cents from $4 on LL. Gotta keep going to reach another payout.
Tonight I watched a Poirot episode that I haven't seen. It was really good, although the Miss Marple shows were generally lighter. π Now I know why I liked them better. π€ Well, time to wrap up tonight. I still have two work days left for the week.
