Happy #thankfulThursday π there is always something to be thankful for in life. πβ€οΈπ‘ It has been my practice to write down tasks and goals I want to happen and achieve. Big or small, it doesn't matter. I write them down as I envision how I want them achieved. I have come to appreciate the value of this exercise. That's 'coz I see that I'm able to tick off items from my list. From time to time, I need to keep updating this list as my priorities change.
Today, I'm thankful for the wonderful event of the vet home visit last night. I'm a bit wary of scheduling appointments at this time of the year, because traffic can be lousy everywhere esp. in Manila. True enough, the vet had to inform me they will be late as they got caught up in slow traffic. From 8pm the appointment got pushed back for an hour. I do understand the situation and am simply grateful that the doctor can come and visit the kitties. It's mighty convenient for me as I need not worry about transport.
You see, I've been meaning to have the kitties checked and eventually vaxxed. I've had that on my list for a while now. Each time, there's the trouble of how and where to bring the kitties. I certainly couldn't do that task all by myself anymore. I was quite pleased with the vet during their first visit. It was a good option to have the vax done by the same doctor. I actually get two vets as it's a female and male tandem -- I think they're bf/gf. It's so cool they work together. It was also my daughter's day off from work, so she got to watch us on the CCTV. She's excited to see her baby Bon get his vax once again. It turned out Bon was more scared when I held him. The female vet just talked to him and petted him. It was done in less than a minute. π The challenge of the night was Xin. We had to find ways to corner her as she was running away from all of us. She doesn't bite, but she's just spooked of strangers. π€£ The kittens were the easiest as they have no traumas at all. Plus, I think they thought they were getting treats. π I'm thankful part one is done. Will wait till the holidays are over before the next schedule. That way, traffic wouldn't be too bad. π€ After this task, I hope to achieve more tasks on my list. πβ€οΈπ‘ One step at a time... one day at a time.
This box with bubble wraps (from past deliveries) must be cozy to sleep on. Ulan enjoys her morning nap earlier today. Sometimes I wish I can sleep as comfortably as the kitties.
19 days to go... whoa! The end of 2024 is coming and we won't be able to stop it. π I might as well enjoy my daily count down. π Yay, we're another day closer to the weekend... π
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Next goal is $3 on LL. Hopefully, earnings from my promotions will be higher this week.
Time to call it a night. I've had enough excitement for the week. Thankful it's almost the weekend. I feel that I need more rest and sleep. π Wishing you an advance happy weekend. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
