Alive & Thriving Saturday : Weekend Wine Time || AATYr5 || Slice of Life 😆

Happy Caturday 🎉 My day off began after work today, albeit a little later than usual again. 😒 Still I didn't let that dampen my spirit. It's my most awaited time of the week 😆

Look! Bruno found a place to sleep after work last night. That's the location of my printer paper, but the paper got used up last night. I let her be 😅 I replaced the paper today but placed it on top of an adjacent box. That way, any kitties who may want to sleep under this area will be welcome. 😂

I also received two more postcards from my daughter yesterday. These were from some of the places she visited during her weekend days off. I now have a total of 22 postcards from my daughter. It's clearly easier to travel to fascinating local places in Spain. She found this travel company called Barcelife. She signs up for trips she finds interesting. I'm quite proud she can travel by herself. Now I miss our travel moments together. I doubt if I could still do a lot of traveling -- hiking is now out of the question. 😞 In a way, I'm glad I traveled when I could. My future trips would more be for relaxing alone. #suchislife

🤣 I caught these kitties in super relaxing sleeping poses. I wish I too could sleep as soundly. 😅 The cooling system is on tonight. I hope the kitties will find the temperature inside the flat cooler too. I know I do. I'd love to sleep longer too. It's cleaning Sunday tomorrow, but I don't need to wake up too early. 😊

🍷 wine and crackers. I'm enjoying it as I'm working on this post. 😅 I have come to realize that I'm more of a wine person than a beer one. However, I prefer to drink from the comforts of home.

A week from now November will say bye-bye. 38 days to end of 2024. Time flies! ⏲ Can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. I have yet to prepare for giveaways. 😒
