Finally SaturYAY π My day off is here again π Am I counting down to a longer vacation (and not just to the end of the year)? π― We're working until the 24th December. Then, we'll be taking a break from the 25th and resume work on the 6th January 2025. π± I'd be ecstatic if Mom were still around and my daughter spending the holidays with me. As it is, I can take the time to work on stuff around the flat that I'd like to accomplish. Decluttering is a good activity to focus on. It can be pretty emotional (for me anyway π) as I've mostly given away a lot that I no longer need over the years. I'm sure I still have lots I can do away with. I'm doing my best to be more minimalist / essentialist. I've started with my purchases -- focusing on items I need in day to day life.
My trek to the mall last week was pretty good. At least I was able to purchase some items I needed and got my haircut too. However, I find going out during this season a bit chaotic. Even the mall atrium decoration was pretty chaotic in my opinion.
I used to like the mall atrium decoration. This year is an overkill. I think it reflects the chaos of the times. π As much as I'd love another visit to the mall, I find it expensive to be going out and about. I need to balance it with my other goal of saving more. I think I might consider simply ordering delivery from Grab Food tomorrow, instead of going out. It saves me transport expenses. π€£ Plus, I didn't like the feels of the neighborhood mall. Something has definitely changed. I'll probably go back in quieter times.
Cat mom Mowe and my work mornings. This is her favorite place to be -- just when I'm working on my desktop. As usual, I got dislodged and found myself adjusting to her. π Cats will do what cats will do. Indeed! π€£
Ten days... oh boy! π 2024 is coming to an end soon... I pray 2025 will bring us more blessings πβ€οΈπ‘ I pray I will be able to overcome my limitations one way or the other. Inshallah!

That's it for the day .. and for another week! One more full week left in 2024. I've completed seven nights of Simbang Gabi. Two more nights and then Christmas eve mass. I'm still thinking of whether I'd be celebrating differently this year. π I'm playing it by ear. I hope your weekend is going great. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
