Happy SaturYAY π Much as I love the weekend, I know that my long vacation is almost coming to an end. π One truly can't get enough of a nice relaxing vacation at home. π Well, one more day left, and here I am sleeping so late. π What was I thinking? I was supposed to wake up early in the morning... π
My journal for the year has such a nice theme. Instead of simply "going with the flow", best to grow with it. Isn't that inspiring? π I'd love to grow with every lesson learned in life too. π
A collage of mall scenes from today. I did manage to get an appointment with the second dental clinic called Wellness Sanctuary & Orthodontics Clinic. It's a good thing too that I've actually spoken with the dentist herself when I tried ringing the number I sourced from their online site. The mall branch has a different number, but I'm glad everything turned out well. I got inspired to seek wellness when the dentist told me she also had an experience with sciatica and that it can actually be treated. I will need to do the work with proper diet and nutrition plus therapy. They do have a package that I think is affordable and worth the try. I'll give it some thought as I'd really love to take that road to wellness. I believe I owe myself that much. πβ€οΈπ‘
The rest of the photos include lunch at Masuki. They specialize in noodle soups. I ordered myself wanton asado mami. I did take out some of the huge siomai they have. I did a bit of side trip to Daiso and Handyman (finally bought myself a desk lamp that can be plugged - not usb). All these stores are on the third floor of the mall. Then I waited at the dental clinic for over half an hour (which gave me some rest time). Since McDonald's at the mall is closed, I settled for some fun shots from KFC (a treat for the kitties). Then, I made time to explore this new cafe called The Matcha Tokyo. I ordered myself some matcha red bean cheesecake (promo buy 1, take 1 for their soft opening) and hot matcha mint latte. I shortened my run this time as I needed to get back home before 4pm for the 1st Saturday memorial mass that I booked for Mom. Yes, I made it back in time (with a little more time to unpack and unwind before the online streaming of the mass). Whew! What a day!

I did mention this the other day about January giving me a feeling of a fresh start, even if it's just a continuation of the previous month. π I suppose it has been part of my programming as well to feel that it's always the best time to start planning anew each time a new year comes in. I used to do resolutions a long time ago. It's not that I don't do them anymore. It's just that I simply try and build on what I've started -- more like a continuation rather than a new start. I still do planning, but these days I keep them flexible. That way I can adjust and adapt as needed. If you have not started making plans, please do. Then more than just starting, it's just as important to follow through. That's what get things done. π
Hey, in this brand new year, I'm afraid I will lose some badges as I plan to take a break on Sundays (that's tomorrow). I'll try to post for prompt a day but probably on #snaps. Let's see. My tracking of weekly HIVE goals will be moved to Monday. π I'm still doing my @aliveandthriving curation. π
Since I was out at the middle of the day, I started late with my affiliate sites. I got to complete most of them thankfully. I'll just catch up tomorrow on the rest.
I'm thankful I survived a lovely season. Now, it's time to get back to reality. I've a lot of tasks to work on and action steps to plan. One step at a time... one day at a time... Wishing you all a lovely weekend. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
