Hey y'all! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend wherever you are. It's that time of the week when I take a break. Funny, but this is how I feel each week...
It's a brief moment though as I only have one day off. What I truly miss is having a real break like a vacation getaway like my daughter and I used to have back in the days. Come to think of it, I haven't had that since Mom passed. Yeah, life got in the way. I became a cat mom, got my mobility issue, daughter flew to Barcelona. Alas, that's my story for now. When do I get a break? Time will tell. What I need a break from though is life's challenges. I'm still sad about losing Nian, and now Bon is having issues. I'm more worried as Bon is the apple of my daughter's eye. I don't want to think much about anything right now as I'm tired. I simply treated myself to a night of cooling while enjoying my TV night. It's good to have a few moments of escape.
Xin, Nian, Kuai, Le as kittens. This was their feeding time. I thought of having a box for them to feed in so they didn't need to compete with the adult kitties outside. Mom was still around then. We adopted them inside when Mom passed. I guess caring for the kitties has become my therapy in a way. Now, there's only Xin and Le left.

Alas, I need the courage to continue on each day despite the challenges. I'm not sure about you, but I feel this year will be a strange one. Whether it will be good or otherwise is relative. I need to be on my guard. I don't know but that's just how I feel. Mini victories each day is what pushes me through. 🙏❤️💡
We're officially starting the second week of the month. Well, I'll wing it each day as it comes. One day at a time. It's not time to overthink as I'm about to call it a day. I'll think of concerns for another day.
