Happy SaturYAY π This is usually the day when I welcome my day off. I have been on vacation since the 25th however. π Somehow I want the days to go by slower than usual. π It feels good to be on vacation, even more so to be just at home. Right now, I wouldn't want to trade the comforts of home.

Wow, we actually have only three days left in 2024. I'm thankful that I got it this far. Despite all the happenings in the world and the high cost of living, I know that there are lots I can be thankful for each day. For one, I survived another Christmas celebration. π I'm no longer huge on celebrations to be honest. I'd rather celebrate simply every day. Most folks stress themselves out for once a year occasions. I don't go for that anymore. I love being able to enjoy each day and find the blessings in each. πβ€οΈπ‘ You know the best part of that? I eat normally. I no longer need to worry about breaking a diet or overeating only during certain seasons. π I'd rather treat myself when I can, buy myself gifts when I get the chance, and so on and so forth. π€£ That's an all year through occasion too. So, yes, I'm truly thankful where I am in life right now. I find that the more grateful I am, the more the blessings come to me. π #thankyouUniverse
What's a Caturday without kitty features? π Top photo: Mowe loves to stick her tongue out a lot, even when she's sleeping soundly. She grew up outdoors and for a while, came indoors to raise Bon. She's been back outside since Mom passed. Lately, she comes inside to rest and sleep but still goes out a lot.
Bottom photo: Thankfully, these three little kittens did not lose any mittens. π They're simply resting after a hearty dinner. I see Dos, Buhawi, and Ulan. I hope they will always get along well even when they become adult kitties.
Last Saturday of 2024. 3 more days to go... the New Year is coming! π I made sangria (red wine, apple, orange). I need one more ingredient -- Sprite. I'll have that on hand before the NY celebration. Let's see what else will go with it. π€£

I got to watch another Agatha Christie movie (Sparkling Cyanide) before working on my post. I just felt like watching a series and it was really good.
