I'm thankful for drizzles from yesterday. It helped made the weather cooler indeed. However, I just read that habagat season is over now. That's the southwest monsoon that usually brings rain. Apparently, we're moving into amihan season -- supposedly cooler weather. ๐โค๏ธโจ Guess the moving of the seasons is something we have no control over.
We're a week into the new month. 24 days left. ๐ Can't help myself with counting days as they pass. ๐
Alive&Thriving Monday : Another meal planning week
I prefer no cook weekends, so I do my meal planning at the start of the work week. I started making a chart last week on what I can prep for meals for the entire week. I'd say it's a lot of help indeed. I have yet to plot out an entire week as I do prefer going day by day. I have tried planning ahead in the past, but I ended up changing my mind on what I want to eat. ๐คฃ Right now, I'm like writing my own food adventure every day.
I finally got to add vegetables (carrots and potatoes -- this is starch though) to my ready to eat meal -- beef caldereta. I discovered I can indeed enjoy four servings with the veggies added. ๐ I'm all set for half of the week now. I'll just plan accordingly when my current meals have been consumed. I'm sure it will come to me. ๐คฃ
The potting mix I ordered online finally got delivered earlier tonight. ๐ I needed it yesterday. Oh well. The garden keeper will be back next month anyway. ๐
Cherry apples anyone? Glad my assistant came by these fruits and finally got to buy me some. ๐ I know I need more fruits and vegetables in my diet. That's healthier too. ๐ค
Alas, Monday is almost done. Pretty soon I'll be celebrating the coming of the weekend again. ๐ The anticipation for me is more exciting. I do wish for a day off when I can afford not to do anything at all. That would be something new for a change. ๐
