Happy midweek π It's the lunar new year π We had work though, thankfully, it was pretty quiet today. π The fireworks last night did not even last ten minutes. My daughter did share some videos from her group chat with former classmates. Apparently there was some drone aerial display. Sadly, I didn't see it as I wasn't at the neighborhood mall. π
I checked out some items from my online shopping cart yesterday. Surprisingly, I got three packages today. One was for my sofa so it gets a new look.
I went for the red color to add more spark to my work area. I figured I'd dress up my recliner sofa so kitties would be discouraged further to scratch it. π I'm glad it was the perfect fit. Funny how this item seemingly called out to me as I was doing some grocery shopping online. π€£ That's one more improvement done. One step at a time.. one day at a time.. (or in this case, I allot some budget once a month for some upgrades or improvements in the flat).

I've heard this quote many times before. I suppose it applies to everyone who is going through something challenging in life. That was 2024 for me as I adjusted the entire year to living alone with my mobility issue and all. It was an okay year, can't complain, but it's not exactly the best. I know I can do better. This year I'd like to seek wellness and perhaps find treatment for my issue. I'd love to be able to do more -- like I used to. I seriously want to remove as much limitations as I can. I'm a work in progress. I know I can somehow achieve anything I set my heart and mind to. πβ€οΈπ‘ Inshallah!
I'm sending everyone wishes of good fortune and many blessings for the rest of the year. The new year seems like a really good time to start fresh, but remember you can always make changes any time. Small changes for the better add up over time. π

Finished a video chat with my daughter before I worked on my post today. I think it's great she gets two days off from work. I wish I do too. π I don't know why I feel more tired tonight. Well, time to recharge for another work day. Do have a fantastic midweek. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
