How did it happen? You Previously wrote one of your brothers was blind in one eye! That was accidental. You too?

My eye has been like this my entire life. I had what they called a lazy eye I forget the word for it. When I was a child, they operated on it to straighten the eye, and I was to wear a patch over my good eye. But I could not see, so I would pull a corner of the patch up to see. I can see light and figures, but I can not make out who is standing next to me. I could walk around, but I would need to do it cautiously.
I had 2 brothers who were both blind in their right eye, too, one had a battery explode, and the other had a badminton birdie hit him in his eye.
