Splinterlands is a trading card game on the Hive Blockchain. I have been playing this game for many years as it continues to add new dynamics to its ever popular selection of different game play
You can even own and work land if the matches are not your cup of tea so to speak.
Gwen's Glint Shop
Over the past few weeks, I have been sharing how to earn glint which you can us to purchase additional cards for your Splinterlands card deck. By having more selection of cards at your use, you can surprise your opponent with cards they were not expecting and win more matches.
I had been saving up my Glint so that I could get another title for my land however they are now sold out. I saved over 600,000 Glint to us for purchases.
I wanted to get higher level cards since the reward cards I had received for advancing were common and rare reward cards. Based on this, the choices left are regular rarity draws (Epic or Legendary) or Gold Foil rarity draws (Epic or Legendary.
Since I do not have any Epic or Legendary Rebellion reward card and also looking at the price difference between the two, I choose to go with the regular rarity draws.
Most times Legendary cards have better stats than Epic cards so even though the price is 35,000 Glint for the Legendary vs 7,500 Glint for the Epic. I choose to get the limit of Legendary draws I could which was 10 draws. If I wanted more they would be at a higher cost until the season reset.
There are 12 Legendary Rebellion reward cards available. Two of each of the six
elements (fire, water, earth, life, death and dragon). There is also a small chance of drawing a gold foil card. I used potions to increase this chance.
I am hoping this provides enough good cards to help with my matches.
Since I do not have any rebellion summoners above level 1, it would be nice to get individual legendary reward cards without many duplicates.
When I opened the legendary draws, I count myself very lucky. I got both water cards, and one of each of the fire, earth and dragon however I did not get any of the life cards.
Death was my luckiest element legendary reward card draw. I got both of the death legendary reward cards with three of one of them - Death Ranger.
Death Ranger
Since I received three of the Death Ranger legendary reward cards, I combined them. By combing to level 2, the card gets an additional ability - close range. I guess I was very lucky to get three of these cards instead of two of different legendary reward cards so that I could combine it.
This card will be very useful in playing in the rule set Little League. With 7 Amor, 4 health and a speed of 3, it should last a little while. I should be able to add it to other line ups as well since it only has a mana cost of 4.
There are only 4 of the legendary rebellion reward cards not that I am lacking but since I do not have any of the epic rebellion reward cards, that will probably be want I am for next.
If you have not started playing this exciting Play2Earn game, you should start. Here is my link to sign up:
