One evening when i was walking around to deck of the cruise ship, i had stopped to look back at one of the islands we had just left. I had totally forgotten about the moon and that it would be full while we were out sailing.
Right above the island was the full moon. I tried to capture both moon and the island in the next two photos. Nature always surprises me with it’s beauty at unexpected times.
A few minutes later the ship was turning and the clouds had blown around. In this photo the full moon is in the top left of the photo.
Later that same night, i was again walking around the deck. While i was looking out at the ocean there was a bright reflection of light which had the water glowing in the middle of the night. The full moon was behind a cloud but was shining on the water between the ship the the far island.
I was amazed by the sight and stood there for several minutes just watching how the light and the water played together.
