Fog fills the Valley

in We Are Alive Tribe10 days ago

Earlier this week when i got up from a great nights sleep, i looked out and the river valley had filled with fog.

I sort of wished i had gotten up earlier because i love to watch the fog as it rises and falls as the morning wind plays with it.

It is usually late fall or early spring when the fog appears. The prevailing conditions have to be just right. There have been times when the fog is so widespread that it reaches and fully covers the house. But not this time.

I live watching it but hate to drive in it.

I am also sharing a photo which does not have fog so you can compare and see exactly how much fog there is.

This fall and winter time have been warmer than normal. Last night was the first time it has gotten close to freezing in this area. Normally it is around the first part of November or mid November at the latest.

The weather is changing to be warmer than normal. Due to this i find it hard to reject the ideal of climate change. It may not be from exactly what has been reported but the climate is changing nonetheless.

Tonight we will be in the mid 30 degrees so slightly above freezing and the the forecast calls for a warming trend before the next front comes through. With the days in the mid 60 and night dropping to the mid 40. This makes it bery pleasant to sit out on the back porch wrapped in a blanket sipping a nice warm beverage observing Mother Nature at work.
