What an exhausting day...
Have a nice day everyone! After trying to get more money that I can spend without worry, I upgraded my room this month. Old desks and chairs in the house don't match my height. For me who works every day in front of a monitor, it's a problem. Back pain is common because I have to bend over to see the screen. I always like how a cubicle in a big company has already been upgraded to make employees comfortable and that's what I tried to follow. The old things are surely stronger than today as most of them are using Teak. Sadly, the height isn't compatible with me.
The image above comes from an ex-company that I ever worked as an intern. I try to replicate that in my room. Maybe it won't survive longer than furniture made of teak, but it's a comfortable place to work. Years ago, I bought a gaming chair with a massage pillow (tho it's already broken now 🤣), a soft seat, an extendable footrest, a height setting, and a bent setting. A few days ago, I bought a gaming desk with water resistance, height setting, and cable management and it just arrived this morning 🔥.
It's heavy and I ask my little brother or my big brother when I want to lift the table top. Other than lifting, the manual instruction already helped me assemble the table frame. The difficulty is like when I assemble my gaming chair or my PC. As long as I follow the manual, there won't be a problem.
Comfortable workplace achieved! Now, I just need to think of upgrading something that helps me with my work. Tbh, I wanted a working chair and desk... When I go to the working section in a housing furniture shop, the price is higher than the gaming one smh 🤔. Well, I just focus on the features I want rather than the material for now.
After cleaning and sorting out my PC and others, time to back to work! Have a nice day everyone.
