Another food-hunting adventure! Before that, I was doing the main task, taking my friend's order. She ordered a hairpin of Liko from Pokemon. Well, I'm just being a broker for them. I know someone who can make cosplay props.
He surely has a skill for this one. It looks like a real deal. I don't know how he can get the materials and technique to make it look alike, but if I have someone who looks out to make "anime" things real. He'll be the one I'll contact to make it.
After meeting him, I got treated to Bakmi Wan Tan (Wan Tan noodles). He says it's the best noodles in his area (Pluit). Well, Pluit is considered a high-class area and pork is a usual thing here. It's good for me. Wan Tan Noodles is a dry noodle consisting of char siu / cha shao (Roast pork), fish meatball, spring onion, bean sprouts, and fried shallots. Mixed it well with Badak, a brand with good sarsaparilla carbonized drink here. It's better than A&W Root Beer imo. As it's in a high-class area, it costs 32k IDR ~ $2.07. If I'm trying to find it in other places it would be around 25k IDR ~ $1.62. Well, I think it's a small price for some people especially if you're looking at the USD price. At least, it's a good product and a good noodle. The price can't be deceptive here.
As a high-class area, We can see a greener area side by side with a big house. This area also has fewer people passing by I don't know why a high-class area is usually not a busy area. Is it because rich people are not that much? Dunno why 🤷♂️
I hope every town is like this. There are corporate or working districts with traffic jams and busy areas but when you go back it's peaceful and we can see the green scenery like here. Well, it's a high-class area and I'm sure it's not a place that I can afford it 😂. At least, I can go there sometimes when I'm free it's not that far from my house. It's around 30 mins with a bus.
That's all from me today. Hope you have a nice weekend~
