Lovely pictures again!!! Oh boy!! All that beauty...
Regarding all the good, and yet at the same time all those not-so-good things, I know pretty sure that you know that life is a rollercoaster, with ups and downs, allowing the one, implies the other. Otherwise it is called a train, and it would be damn boring! But some periods it's just too much of the one and too little of the other.... Or sometimes you just want to take the train for a while, and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the views...
Have missed quite a few days in the past... Don't even know how long :-D So didn't know you had laptop issues with The Arch... But glad to hear that you got it fixed! Curious what the issue was.... ;-)

Thank you so much, @borniet, it's greatly appreciated!
Oh yes, I definitely know that life comes with its highs, lows, and challenges, and that's fine, but yeah, as you said, when it's way more of the challenging stuff, and far too little of the beautiful stuff, then it can get problematic. Enjoying peace, quiet, and lovely views sounds pretty nice to me!
Haha...no worries, I knew that you were busy. Yeppers, and it was a bugger, but I surmounted it in the end! Basically, due to a grub update, when I rebooted my computer, grub complained about no shim-lock, and refused to allow any kernel to boot. I had run into that issue before, but what had always worked in the past to resolve it, didn't work this time, partly because of an ASUS firmware bug. So my laptop was unbootable for about 3 days, although thankfully I was able to run my Qortal node via a chroot into my unbootable Arch installation. I had the idea to simply downgrade grub, then reinstall it with a new set of arguments, one of which disabled shim-lock, and that worked, super thankfully! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Yeah, damn those bootloader-issues!!! I always hate those, and am pretty glad that I haven't had any issues anymore in the past few years. But very well found and solved!!! And especially glad that it got solved! :-D

Oh lordy, tell me about it, me too! That's an exceedingly good thing! I'm my 6 years on Ubuntu, and almost 7 years on Arch, I've learned how to fix all manner of issues! Thanks a lot, I felt quite accomplished when my computer booted again! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

It's one of those things that I love about Linux. If something goes wrong, you can mostly fix it yourself. The feeling of accomplishment, and the learning opportunities, are wonderful! Strong contrast to Windows, where you're basically just simply !DOOKed...

Ditto that so much! Linux is wonderfully DIY, which also enthralls me! Bingo, exactly that on the feeling of accomplishment and learning opportunities! Every problem has made me learn more deeply how Linux works! I take so much pleasure in wiping Windows from hard drives...lol! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

lol!!! I totally agree on the Windows wiping thing :-D Unfortunately, I'm strongarmed by clients/employers to use Windows, and it SUCKS bigtime!!!!
Reboot your computer at least every other day (if it didn't crash)? Yeah, that's normal! No, it's not, only in windows-world...

I had a feeling that you would...lol! It's so unfortunate indeed that so many companies and corporations choose to use Windows, as it's truly sub-par. I'm sure it does suck!
Haha...yeah, it's crazy how quickly a Windows system begins to slow down, and require a reboot. Linux can run for weeks, months, and even years of uptime. Linux all the way! Maybe some BSDs too! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
