Alive Chat May 15, 2021

This is the Alive Chat for today, come and hang out with the We Are Alive Tribe, share news and ideas, or ask any question you want answered.

The Alive Chat starts at 10 UTC every day, and we recommend to be there at the start so that we can have an actual chat on chain, all later comments are also welcome of course.

Meaningful comments will be upvoted with ALIVE Power using @flaxz.alive and @iamalivechalleng accounts to reward them with ALIVE tokens.

ALIVE token earnings on the @alive.chat account will to begin with be staked to build our ALIVE Power, but once we have worked out the technical details we will use 50% to pay out to ALIVE stakeholders according to their stake.

Earnings of liquid Hive will be used to buy ALIVE tokens on the market and used the same way as above.

                                                      I hope everyone has a happy Saturday, and do enjoy your weekend.

                                                      All this birch pollen we have right now has got me very tired the last few days, so I am taking it a bit easy today.

                                                      I do hope to have the updated version of the white paper ready quite soon though, and I have looked into running a VPS in AWS for the bot to deliver ALIVE tokens as tips.

                                                                                                                                                                                    Hey Flaxz, have you seen what Proofofbrain is doing? They are going to switch to an Ecency front end (which I like a lot), but maintain the scotbot frontend too (maybe in a unseen subdomain) to handle all of the token rewards. An interesting approach.

                                                                                                                                                                                          That sounds interesting, especially if they publish the source code when they adapt it to show their token instead of Hive.

                                                                                                                                                                                          And just so you know Scotbot is not a frontend, that's the backend to handle the rewards pool and pay out rewards, the HE frontend is Nitrous, if you are going to make your own tribe it might be important to know what these things are actually for.
