The film making industry is one that will always have a market and it's very justified in the eyes of a lot of people. It adds something different to our lives and serves as a source of entertainment. For some, it's an escape from their real world activities and for some, its something else. Film making is diversified and among what it entails is animations / anime and cartoons.

Cartoons can be classified as films that are for everyone regardless of age group. Cartoons are most of the time viewed by children but adults have also come to enjoy cartoons. It's very funny when you enter some people's homes and from morning till evening all you see is cartoons. Kids really don't pay rent but control homes.

While growing up, I watched cartoons too and enjoyed it. I remember how early I used to wake up to watch cartoons even before going to school. "Visat1" was one of the best tv channels at showing good cartoons. They usually did that in the morning so if you were going to school during the week, you either wake up early or catch up during the weekend.

In my current age, even when I see "Tom and Jerry" on tv, I get pissed for some reason. I don't see it to be funny anymore and I see how wrong Jerry was the whole time. We used to victimize Jerry when actually Tom was the victim. When you start to watch it when you've grown a bit, it just doesn't feel same.

Though, cartoons is mainly for kids, I do appreciate it for one thing. It's one of the best ways to learn good English and some good words. We all know the adult movies we watch use some very provocative words and not the very best language.

Anime can maybe be said to be an advanced cartoon. It is for a more mature audience because of some the things they depict. Anime is one thing I have never really watched. The first time I consciously tried watching anime was when I got to senior high school. I may have watched anime before senior high school but I don't recall and I didn't even know the differences between anime and cartoons. All I knew was that anything that wasn't human, was cartoons.

The first anime I tried watching was "Naruto". Friends of mine in school hyped it up so much I gave it a try. I didn't watch much and that's because I didn't enjoy it. For some reason, I've never been a fan of anime. Since my not so good time with Naruto, I've not even tried watching another. I don't watch cartoons anymore too but the one I always go back to is "Avatar: The Last Air Bender". For sometime, I thought it was anime but anime lovers have it very clear to me it's not.

The Last Air Bender is probably my most lover cartoons that I can binge watch several times. That is why I am so particular about the live action remakes and I hope they make them right.

Anime lovers are really passionate about the franchise and honestly, it's nice to see. Their dedication to the franchise is outstanding. Cartoons can be considered as anime as I've heard some people say but not all anime can be considered cartoons. Do you think that's true?
