It's sad that Brazil is still a third world country with all of the resources it should be the dominant economic force of South America. But corrupt government prevents progress like we've seen time and again throughout the region. I know Simon Bolivar wanted South America to unify as one nation, things might have come out differently if that could have happened.

In the US we are seeing the same problem, a corrupt government is preventing any progress and dividing the nation.
