Maintaining the status quo could make us limitless

in Hive Learners9 months ago

It's been an eventful week on Hive much more for Hivelearners Community as they celebrated their 100weeks of Featured edition contests which says a lot about what the community is all about.. dedication and consistency.

A 100th week of achievement has been achieved but then the last count on the numerals the last time I checked wasn't 100 which invariably means that we can get to 200 and 300 and so on and so forth and for the purpose of this prompt, the Hivelearners Community are extending the question to all of us about what to do and how to get to the actualisation of a 200th week.

Personally, I think going back to the drawing board is always important when someone is missing something or not getting the optimal results from whatever he or she is doing but in the case of Hivelearners Featured edition contests, I think it's really hitting the top figure which shows that there are minimal or nothing to change honestly but then there's always a room for an improvement and settling for better when there could be best ain't the right thing but I've been wracking up my brain for long now and nothing is coming up... Honestly, Hivelearners for me, has got every track covered and are up to hit a 200th week in due time.

The things that needs to be done is just maintaining the status quo...

  • The consistency and dedication of the moderators

  • The consistency and dedication of the community members in publishing quality contents

  • Supporting one another by way of reading, upvoting and commenting on one another's post

  • Correcting the mistakes we discover on posts in a friendly and respectful manner.

If all these things are adhered to just as we are doing now, I think we will be limitless.

Genre of topic I prefer

Personally, I prefer Relatable topics.

Relatable topics are topics that affects our daily day to day activities in various spheres of our life... Could be in our career, life pursuits, sports and so on and so forth.

When the prompt topics are ones that the Community members could easily relate to, it gets a lot of persons to participate as it sparks a light in them to write and keep writing...

It gives everyone room to participate as you needn't be the best writer in the world to participate in such prompts, just for instance, when the prompt topic, "Write about what you did in the last 24hours" was published, people kept on submitting their entries and almost everyone that wanted to participate participated even those that didn't want to but saw the prompt's topic did because it is very relatable.

However, It is said that variety is the spice of life and it's true.
I can't imagine how it will feel writing on a particular genre of topic all year long because it will really get to a point of diminishing return and people will just end up rephrasing their posts and putting it up for re-read in the Community's page.

So I strongly suggest that we keep writing on different genres as we are doing now because it makes it more fun.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Yeah talking about our day can be very relatable especially if you have a day you want to talk about and don't know who to talk to.

Yep, it's a relatable topic and will sit well with anyone

I think that is why we members vote on the topics given inorder for us to write on what majority of the community has voted on. If that's what you mean though when you talk about writing different genres

Yep, something like that man
