Education is grossly failing globally and clearly, efforts are not put in gaining knowledge as we did in our times, blame teachers or parents or even advanced technology. It's good you realized the importance and role you had to play in guiding your child towards gaining knowledge.

It's saddening that many parents have no time to check on what their kids are learning in school.
